The room was nice, modern and clean and the pool was amazing . Close by the beach, drive to town Centre was 10 min. Staff was wonderful and helpful and the breakfast had wide selection.

Villa Kotlar was a fantastic find - everything about my stay was fantastic! The room was spacious, clean with a comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Breakfast each morning was slightly plentiful and slightly varied. The staff were absolutely fantastic, really friendly and would go above and beyond. I really liked the location, slightly away from the main tourist centre. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

This is a very minor point but I wish there were more fresh fruit or yoghurt offered at breakfast

The pool area and gardens are so nicely kept, the staff are super friendly and the room was very comfortable, with everything you'd need for a short stay. The villa is just up the road from the beach, some mini markets and a short walk into town. The rooms are cleaned every couple of days and, despite my room being on the ground floor, I really didn't hear any noise

If I had to mention anything the water pressure could be a tad better but this is just knitpicking.

Everything was perfect, but the hosts and the staff are the real highlight. Some of the kindest, most helpful people I had the luck of meeting over my 250 or so bookings so far.

well villa is not beachfront or near...from my perspective it is not closed if you need to walk two blocks/200 m to public beach. breakfast, well sufficient, but third day almost same...with narrow selection of average quality?

one member of staff was a bit miseable !!! the walk to the old town was stunning around the headland but quite long and this might not be suitable for more elderly.

great room with a balcony and view of the lake although it would have been nice to have had a table to sit at. the pool is fantastic - really good size and plenty of sunbeams, chairs and umbrellas to relax. very good buffet breakfast with a reasonable amount of choices. beach very close for an early morning swim. very nice and friendly owners.

Though the hotel is in walkable distance from the Old Town, the neighbour infrastructure needs upgrading

The accomodation was very clean and spaceus. Villa owner is very pleasant and kind, he recommeded us some places which are worth visiting. Very good breakfast with pool in backyard. 10-15 min walking distance to city center. Highly recommended!

There is nothing bad about this property.

We stayed here for 3 nights and really liked here, can definitely recommend it. The bed was very comfortable, it was very clean, breakfast was delicious and clearly prepared with care. One night someone in a neighboring room was smoking and the smoke was coming into our room. I sent a message to the manager/owner (?) and they immediately took care of it, even though it was later in the evening. The restaurants are more into town, but it’s a super easy walk to get there. If it happens to be raining, they even provide an umbrella. The balcony was really nice, as were the chairs by the pool. The location is close to the lake.

Two thinks I didn't like.: The bed was VERY soft. The Garbage bin inside the bathroom was not cleaned up and no refill of the toilet paper.

Villa Kotlar is a beautiful boutique hotel, an easy 15/20 minutes walk just north of downtown/central Ohrid. It is in a quiet neighborhood with free parking 2 minutes at the end of the street. The building looks new, beautifully decorated AND includes an elevator! Breakfast was good. Unfortunately it was too cold to take advantage of the lovely swimming pool at the back of the property. Highly recommend, would stay again.

Sometimes would be nice to see staff in reception if needed help example with ordering taxi. But staff was always helpful and we asked for help from the bar as well so this wasn't problem.

Hotel was very clean and nice atmosphere. It was close to the lake and main attractions. Staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. In breakfast there was everything necessary. We would definately stay again and recommend to others too.

The room was extra clean, it smelled really nice. The sheets were washed. The bed was super soft and comfortable . The pool was also great. It was peaceful and quiet. I will definitely visit again.
