Didn't have electric outlet right by the bed. Bathrooms got busy (maybe limited WCs based on number of people).

Amazing host who proactively answered all my questions. Super location in the heart of town but not loud. Nice community kitchen and lounge area for meeting people. Clean beds and bathroom. Great local tips and recommendations.

I arrived at 1am and was bit scared as this is my first time in north Macedonia as solo female traveller. The owner picked me me up for the airport and stayed in constant communication which made me feel very comfortable. I felt very safe. The owner is extremely friendly and kind. Very central with excellent location. Highly reckoned it 😊

Everything was very nice. The location is perfect, close to the city center, old town and beach. A supermarket and a bakery are right across the street. They offer laundry for 5 euros. You also get towels included. The staff was very helpful.

- no handwash soap - it creates noise when you walk or go up and down the stairs But these are not deal breakers. I loved the hostel and will definitely stay again when i go back!

Thank you to the staff of Sunset Lake Hostel esp Joko (im not sure if the spelling is right). He was very nice and friendly and recommended me places to see while in Ohrid. He also gave me very good espresso coffee and juice when i arrived. My bed was comfortable and the area all around was clean and comfortable. They even have a kitchen if you need to cook food and a nice balcony. The location is perfect!

Sometimes the shower is only a small stream of water, and the bunks don’t have privacy curtains, but that’s not a big issue.

Amazing hostel!!!! Everyone is so friendly and it’s a great place to meet people! I only stayed for two nights but I met people that I will continue traveling with in different countries too! The location is excellent and super close to everything, and the host is very helpful and kind. I wish I could have stayed longer, and I’m definitely coming back next time I’m in Ohrid.

Location is amazing, literally less than 10 minute walk to all spots of Ohrid. Its great. The owner is super friendly and cool, he can help arrange busses for your next destination, and he is very accomodating.

No lockers for all guests

There were a few issues with the locker and the socket at first, but the staff was helpful and everything got sorted quickly. Overall, a good experience!

Really great vibe here, not a party hostel but about a 15-20 person place with lots of friends willing to have a couple beers and socialize. The common areas were always kept very clean and the kitchen was fully equipped. Right across the street from a Kipper grocery store, and right next to a walking street with tons of restaurants. The owner was super nice and friendly. Highly recommend.

- location in the heart of Ohrid - My host Joko was amazing & made my stay perfect. I felt like home. Thank you, Joko for being the best host to me & for helping me get directions to the local places. - Rooms were very spacious with a nice balcony - Kitchen was comfy & equipped with all the necessary stuff - Complimentary tea & coffee was a nice bonus
