No complaints really, but if the top bunk beds all had some kind of shelf for little items like your phone or a water bottle, then the place would be perfect

One of my favorite hostels in a while! The location is very convenient and everyone working there were warm and friendly, with the cozy decoration in the common areas it almost felt like visiting someone's home. Beers are not expensive and there's free coffee and tea whenever you need it. Good AC in the room too.

Common areas are pretty nice and large. Kitchen is a nice spacious area to cook and prep on a budget. Walkable distance to malls, centrum and bus station. Typical hostel bunk beds. Two bathrooms on the ground floors.

There were no charging sockets next to ALL the beds.

So close to the bus station, perfect for early or late buses and 20min walk to central, can leave bags. Friendly staff and they can arrange taxi for you which you pay at hostel. Free lockable lockers with key provided.

Hot shower, cozy public space and the location. Kitchen is good. The owner and Larisa are very nice and helpful. It’s close to bus terminal, big supermarket and major attractions. WiFi good too.

The 8 bedded dorm is upstairs with a spiral staircase to go up - no toilet or bathroom upstairs

This place felt like home to me. Small but cozy and chilled, all the staff are great and very helpful. If I am coming back to Skopje I will definitely be coming back here.

Staff was so kind and helpful, real hostel vibe, met tons of wonderful travelers. The breakfast is amazing, a Moroccan volunteer cooked up a tasty meal one morning and it was FREE! The front desk kept in touch with me via what’s app to make sure I found my way to the hostel, that was a great detail. Izmir can be a bit dull but I love it here.

Very convenient location -- within a ten-minute walk of the bus/train station and the city center -- but quiet neighborhood. Friendly and helpful staff. Friendly, casual atmosphere, yet quiet during the night and early morning. Outdoor lounge/patio potentially large enough to accommodate both smokers and nonsmokers. Curtains on beds. Plenty of power outlets. Lockers and towels provided. Sufficient bathrooms and toilets, including hair dryers. Kitchen available with microwave and lots of dishes and utensils. Free coffee and fruit. One of the best places to stay in Skopje for budget travelers/backpackers!

The location wasn't perfect in the city center, so it was a 20 minute walk. Which is completely fine and safe.

The mattress was very comfortable. There were curtains for privacy for each bunk. Lots of places to keep your stuff as well as a locker for each bed. There are 3 bathrooms for the hostel and I was never waiting for someone to finish. The ladies who work there were all really nice and knowledgeable about the area. Lots of great info! It's a short walk to the bus station. And about a 15 minute walk to the old bazaar area. It's a lovely riverside walk to old town and doesn't seem like 15 minutes.

If the hostel is full, I could imagine you might be waiting for one of the few bathrooms, but wasn't really an issue when I was there (out of season)

Staff are absolutely lovely (especially Filiz (sp?) and her adorable dog). Location is handy for the bus station, down a bit of a side street - quiet neighbourhood. Walk into the city centre is about 20 minutes along by the river. Beds decent, with privacy curtains. Helpful with local information and recommendations, and the manager may greet you on a Sunday morning with an offer of rakija at 1030! 😂

I liked the location near the bus and train station very much. Shanti Hostel is small and has an intimate feel about it. I will stay again when I am next in Skopje.
