Lago Hotel is a beautiful place right by the lake with breathtaking sunset views. The pool is perfect for relaxing, and the location is ideal, just 30 minutes from the Naum Monastery and only 15 minutes from Ohrid centre. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and breakfast is excellent, served in a modern and stylish restaurant. The staff is very nice, and gave us a 'Macedonia' magnet before we left. They also gave us a free room upgrade :)

Lago Hotel is a true gem by the water. The owner and his wife were incredibly welcoming, making the stay feel personal and warm from the very start. The setting is beautiful, with an amazing sunset view that feels almost magical each evening. The hotel’s lake beach is lovely and perfect for relaxing or taking a refreshing swim. A wonderful place to enjoy nature, comfort, and genuine hospitality.

The location is excellent – it may take a moment to get used to the fact that the lake is across a small road, but it’s a quiet road and the whole atmosphere feels close, family-oriented, and relaxed. The hotel itself is very small, and the furniture is a bit dated, giving more of a guesthouse feel than a luxury hotel. That said, the staff are wonderful and create a warm, family-like atmosphere throughout your stay. There’s an excellent restaurant on site, open almost all the time, serving delicious food. There are stand-up paddleboards available for rent, a tiny but sweet swimming pool that perfectly suits the size of the hotel, and rooms with lovely views of the lake. While the beds and shower are quite basic, the experience of staying by the lake is truly enjoyable. The suite’s jacuzzi was a real treat, and there’s free cold water in the fridges. The hotel’s private lakefront area is beautiful, with sunbeds available for guests (just make sure to grab them early). Beach towels are also provided. You need to cross the road before reaching the pebble beach. The parking is rather crowded as others also use it.

New and clean room with mountain view witch made the sleeping very good without any noise. Food at the restaurant tasty, the staff was friendly. The pool area is very relaxing. Beach right across the street with free sunbeds and beach bar with very friendly staff and good music. Vladimir and Sofija are great hosts, keep the good work and see you next summer.

Beautiful family owned hotel, spacious yet very warm and cozy with outstanding interior design and decoration. Immaculately clean - probably the cleanest hotel we've been to! Excellent breakfast buffet, offering a wide variety of food, including lots of fresh fruits for every taste. All of the staff members are very friendly and helpful- made us feel like being at home. The owners are exceptional, both of them treated us as if we were their good friends. We even received a beautiful present at our departure! Definitely a place to go for a relaxed and pleasant stay. We will for sure be back as soon as we can and we highly recommend it to everyone visiting Ohrid!

A truly lovely stay! 🍀 Each morning started with a delicious, generous breakfast, served with a smile and a kind word. The hosts were incredibly warm, helpful, and always ready to assist – we truly felt welcome. The location is peaceful and pleasant, yet close to everything you might need. Rooms are smaller than they look on photos. The hotel is just next to main street to Albania, so it is a bit noisy and dangerous to cross it to go to the beach.

The pool is nice. It is just next to the Lake.

It was a little further than I expected from old town, and not many restaurants close by, when the on site restaurant opens at 2pm. many locals also use the parking so sometimes difficult to find a spot.

The pool was fantastic - with a small area for little kids and the access to the beach was very convenient. Very good breakfast with good mix of healthy options and to satisfy the sweet tooth :) The rooms were cleaned everyday and new towels given. The restaurant was very good- their pizza and Caesar salad was the best we had in all Lake Ohrid.
