How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Walk out of the hotel right onto the square. Close to all central things. The staff were excellent - offered to book taxi from airport. Helped with car service for tours.

There was always the need to do a few stairs as far as I am aware which may be an issue for some people.
The staff was very helpful- Tea assisted us with everything we needed. TV was a smart tv so you could stream your own Netflix account. Great location.

The welcoming was very nice and warm. They have been waiting for us although my plane had a long delay. They come to the car park to get my luggage very late in the night.

about the hotel nothing to dislike. however Skopje is Skopje ..sadly unappreciated by those who live there ( the damage and disrespect is evident) for its true potential and beauty.. As a countrywomen it is disappointing to see the state it has been brought too! the citizens have no pride in their city it is undisputable.. I do feel certain aspects are overdone, but I understand where the vision was heading but not executed correctly however that does not negate the disrespect it is shown . Skopje has an untapped opportunity awaiting to be unlocked. Loved the fact so many tourists from around the world enjoying their time.. however the people need to take more pride in their surroundings and city. their needs to be more attention to the upkeep. The graffiti on monuments by the color revolutionists is disheartening the unkept grass and weeds in front of buildings, the unwashed building fronts, the plaques on statues damaged is a reflection of the total disregard of certain "citizens" have for the surroundings and country they live in yet are quick to discredit anyone trying to maintain it and share it.
was in Skopje as overnight as my Son & DIL were arriving from their trip to join us in Macedonia. Flight was a late arrival so we drove to Skopje to pick them up and spend the night and do a little sightseeing of the Square and Matka as it was my DIL 1st trip to Macedonia. I can not recommend the hotel more highly! the location can not get better unless u sleep outside under the stars. The Staff !!! Kudos to all working in this hotel!! your level of Customer Service is unmatched thus far in any other European country I have visited and the countless hotels I've stayed. You all went above and beyond every expectation and your job descriptions. You made us feel reassured and stress free when you organised a pick up of our family members from the airport at midnight. The fact your staff ran outside onto the main road to meet us and direct us to the car park and provide us with free parking pass as it was our 1st time driving in Skopje was beyond your job your hospitality was 1st class and your welcoming nature was heartfelt and truly appreciated. HIGHLY RECOMMEND and a customer for life!

What could be an improvement is to have a better place to hang the towels after using them.
Very nice room, great hotel location. Super comfortable bed! Probably one of the best, if not the best beds we slept in. Staff is very nice and goes above and beyond to help with any questions and requests.

Everything, the hotel, staff, and facilities are excellent! The night receptionist on the 2nd of July 2025 was very welcoming and friendly... Same about Maritja (Receptionist) when we checked out. Many thanks! Will definitely return soon!

Everything was perfect!
Loved our stay here! The room was spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed, slippers, bathrobes and toiletries. The location of the hotel is perfect—right in the center, close to everything. The staff were super helpful and had great communication throughout our stay. Would definitely stay here again!
