How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewIt was very close to the ski center, the staf wos friendly and the dinner was great. I didn’t go to the spa, but it look nice and very warm. They had a play room for kids, my daughter loved it.
Breakfast wos very bad, no diversity at all for a 4 star hotel! The rooms were kind of old, they could make them better. There is no elevator, so be prepared ti climb some stairs.

First of all, when u enter the hotel, there is no ramp, so you have to climb a lot of stairs There isnt an elevator, rooms were outdated since 1980, the staff ( specially two bald waitress around 30-35yo ) were super lazy and you had to ask them hundred times to bring you a fork. We had a full-board offer , and the dinner was so bad and smelly , the next day we decided to eat somewhere else . - The bartender at the lounge was cool and respectful . - spa was also super nice and clean - it seems that the hotel is managed by the government, thats why everything is old and staff unmotivated and careless.

Total rip-off. 150 euros per night for Really shabby rooms look fotos, tv was not working telephone was a joke with no connected cable. Torn furniture, hole in the bed sheets prepaid food was not 4 stars hotel standards, dinner not a buffet and just ok. Sauna was cold, Hamam was cold only jacuzzi was ok.

Verified reviewWe were there as a couple for a weekend. The location is nice, a mountain and a lake are near by. It is comfortable and relaxing.The young receptionist was very polite and professional.. was always there ready with a response and help when we asked her for. She made a while experience much better, the girlfriend and I really appreciated her.
The facilities and damn expensive for what is offerred. The property is not maintained well and is old.. the assets and amenities are just NOT for that price, at all. The restorant also has a very strict policy about the menu. You have 3 pre made options for dinner, for example, and I mean, for 200€ a night, com'mon.. if you ask for something that is not pre made or, nevertheless, vegetarian, they give you a hard time. At the end, the manager had to be the one to solve the issues, providing us with resonable options for a meal. We greatly appreciate his input. Furthermore, amenities are not well maintained and are old. It seems as if they do not invest back 1% in maintenance in general. I mean, the TV holder was broken, thus the TV was leaning forward all the time. The jacuzzi bottom seal was broken, and instead of fixing it, they just provided us with a cheap plastic one to cover the hole so the water can stay in..the bathroom had moist on the walls and they just put extra covers to mask it instead of actually solving the cause, etc..

Verified reviewThe location was great and the scenery was fantastic. The breakfast was good with some good choices of local food.
The rooms were dated, and the heating and WiFi were switched off at night. We booked a half board stay and the evening meal was shocking. Inedible and really poor, my wife is vegetarian and she had to argue to get something other than a chicken soup starter. The people working in the restaurant clearly didn't want to be there and did the bare minimum. The Spa was filthy, the jacuzzi water was a strange shade of green. The changing rooms are about 4ft square with no seats.

The room was old. The bathroom was awful. The toilet seat was broken, the ceiling had mold in the bathroom. The beds were so so. Only half of the radiator was hot, and they turned it on at 7pm. I could go on, but I think it's enough...
