The rooms are quite dark, but that didn't matter so much, as we were only there to sleep. And, though this is absolutely no fault of the hotel, bring ear plugs if you plan to be there over the weekend. Music from nearby clubs was blasting and thumping until breakfast. Again, this isn't the hotel's fault, and it seems most of the Morondava hotels are along this strip and would have the same issue. Ear plugs and white noise will be your friend.

The hotel is in a good location, just a short walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The restaurant has a lovely view of the river and there are nice lounge chairs to relax in. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was tasty.

The bed wasn't super comfortable, but it wasn't a big deal to be honest.

Accidentally received a better room and it was not imidiately clear how the management wanted to handle this. But in the end they said this was there mistake and we got a free upgrade.

Strong mold and damp smell in the room 22 and 20. Not great for the lungs. Mattress wasn't very comfortable either.

We booked a two person room but after 1 night we changed to a three person room for more space and to have an a/c. The two person room only had a ventilator while the three person room has a nice a/c. The three person room was very nice, we loved the extra space. The food in the restaurant is absolutely amazing and the staff is very nice!

The air conditioner in the room switched off every hour or so and had to be turned back on using the remote (not so good at night)

The hotel and the rooms were clean and well presented with a laid back atmosphere, situated on the main tourist strip of Morondava and on the side of the Hellot Canal. The hotel has a restaurant that serves breakfast and other meals. However, we only had breakfast (which was reasonably good) as there are a lot of other restaurants within 10 minutes walk. The hotel would be ideal for travellers looking to stay in Morondava for a few days for a very reasonable cost.

The noise coming from the river (the engines of the boats) and from the street ( people, car and even the roasters) in the early morning. The sliding door of the bathroom is not easy to open and close.

Location close to the beach, the building is on the riverbank so you can enjoy the breakfast with the view. Common access shower and toilet are separated and well maintained. Employees super friendly!

Only I was missing conditioner in the room, the weather was very hot, and the ventilator in the room was not helpful enough.

Don't book a trip or airport shuttle from hotel, much more expensive than normal, i checked out pay for local currency, was be overcharged more, almost 10 Euro! And they did not show the standard exchange rate! and there was no invoice!

At arrival our room was already been assigned, we got a different one, without balcony, when we asked to get something in exchange (at least air conditioning without paying any extra fee) they initially said it was not possible, we had to argue to get it and at the end they accepted it, and the manager refused to talk to us
