The light in the room didn;t work and water was in short supply - but this is often the case in Tana.

The room was queit and comfortable - and had a good sized bathroom. The room was in an annex down the road a little bit and this annex was more basic then the main hotel which was beautiful and really well designed. Great food.

The taxi driver was a bit pricey to just take me to one museum in comparison to what I could have probably gotten in town, and in my room there was only one weak light working.

I loved the staff at the reception and dining. The room was okey but the toilet was not flashing properly and rain came in the room when it rained.

I would have liked the sheets and bedding to be fresher and cleaner. The quality of the mattress was a bit too rudimentary for the price of the room.

The personnel was wonderful, helpful and tried to offer the best possible experience within their capacity. The Restaurant and food was surprisingly good and the location excellent. The room was spacious and basic. The services (water, power, internet) were often unreliable, (I suspect that this is a reality of living in this large city), but the price was kindly adjusted.

During the 2nd night the room became infested with bugs. In the morning we went to reception to report this and ask for a room change. The response was not good,the young lady said that the bugs always appear when it's been raining. Rubbish excuse considering it hadn't rained.

We arrived very late / early in the morning and were immediately made welcome so we extended our stay from 2 nights to 3. The restaurant was very good and the outside garden very pleasant. The rooms the first and especially the third night were good.

Room Wifi not working despite promises to get password for different network, doors didn't fit the frame - mosquitos coming in, mosquito net semifunctional as it has holes sound ceiling. Room smelled a bit of cigarette smoke.

The upstairs room/attic can be a little challenging for tall people as you may occasionally bump your head against the roof. Also, the air conditioner was not working and neither was the small TV.

Friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant is spacious and outdoors, which allows to enjoy the pleasant breeze in the evenings. They also put a mosquito coil to chase away the mosquitoes. Still good to put on mosquito repelent to be safe.

we booked three rooms (we were a group of 5) some time ahaed. the rooms they allocated for us were all in different buildings. we expected to have three rooms in the same building if not same floor. not a big issue as we stayed one night anyway. I think that if you ask beforehand they will accomodate any request as possible. it is a really well run hotel!

They allow cigarette smoking in the lobby sitting area, which travels to all areas within the hotel. To remedy, I requested the annex across the street, which is highly preferable. It is clean and newly painted in contrast to my dingy room in the main hotel.

They sent me to an amex on the hotel Una building in front with no security and where the WiFi didn't work. After asking for a change I was moved to a room on the same building which was better and matched the pictures more but the place is clearly more deteriorated than in the pictures. The WiFi wasn't so strong either. Pillows were cushions, not pillows.

The location is good if you want to be in the city center. The staff was nice.
