The view from the balcony was amazing! Loved cooking breakfast in the “outdoor” kitchen. Easy access to the beach and swimming was perfect. Great restaurants along the strip. Loved the bbq from Lolo’s and then lots of lovely French restaurants to choose from too!

Everything is perfect: the location, the accomodations, the incredible view, the gorgeous sand beach. We've travelled many places in the world, and this is one of the nicest places we've stayed. We chatted with many fellow travellers from UK, Canada and US, and all agreed Grand Case is one of the best locations on the island-- not too busy, not too quiet.The beach is uncrowded, it is less windy than the west side of the island, and you can walk to countless options for excellent food and drink, from gourmet restaurants to creole beach food. Our apartment overlooked the water. A modern garage style door opens up to a patio and sandy area overlooking the ocean and a calm, practically deserted, swim beach. We spent much time hanging out in the outdoor kitchen, or on the two lounge chairs. We were glad to not need a car, as we walked everywhere, either via the beach or a small street lined with shops. A favorite of our trip was the short day trek to secluded Happy Bay and Friars Bay. The apartment is tastefully decorated, very clean, and modern in design. The kitchen is well equipped. Wifi worked great. Our host Alain was very gracious and helpful. If this property is available, book it. Don't think twice. You will be so happy with your choice.

The narrow entry driveway to the garage was tricky. Getting onto the busy street is challenging.

The view and the facilities were fantastic! Loved being able to jump into the ocean at a whim. The studio is well organized for the space. Liked the off street parking as this is a busy street to try to park on. The design of the building with the locks in place for entry and studio keep the apartment very safe. Grand Case in general seems very safe.

apartment so very clean and had every thing we needed. the view was just amazing . Alain was very helpful

very musty odor, lots of mildew in bathroom shower area, air conditioning unit leaves puddles of water on floor. we literally had a puddle of water under the bed. Bed was a 3 inch mattress on a platform, very uncomfortable. Walking from the residence to main street where all the restaurants are, very dangerous. No sidewalks, very uneven, broken area to walk on with cars traveling fast with no lighting.

Room is nice and clean the but the concierge Alain seems to have anger issue over customer, smashing and cussing and threatening to call local police(not actually come) is over the line of being a professional concierge and he showed no manner at all which buffed people. He was shouting so loud. Also tried to pull me out of the bathroom when I have no chance to put on something, he acts like a insane man out of control

Alain, the manager were warned about water issues when we checked in - 1) We were told that there may be an occasional water outage- an emergency water bag for showering was provided. 2) We had water during our stay, but had no hot water the last 3 days of our 7 day stay. We were provided one set of towels each and one beach towel each for a 7- day stay. We had to ask for another set of towels. The bath towels were clean, but worn. We were provided a a drying rack over the indoor washer. However, we noticed that some units had portable drying racks in the terrace. We could have used the drying rack for the terrace. There was no place to hang dresses/ longer clothing items in the closet. Some of the chairs and the ottoman need reupholstering.

The studio unit 12 was clean with easy access to the beach (walk out of the building and down a few steps) with a wonderful view of the ocean. You could walk down the beach or on the street to restaurants and shops. Nice bathroom, comfortable bed, kitchenette adequate (stovetop only). Beach chairs, an umbrella, beach towels provided.
