Would have loved an umbrella to go with the provided beach chairs ( though I understand that could be easily destroyed which is why it isn't included ). Also, please consider adding a small, soft-sided cooler for the beach and more ice trays for the freezer.

Location is right on the beach. Located on the 3rd floor with an easy staircase down to the beach or the main road should you want to get something to eat. We didn't rent a car because everything is within walking distance ( grocery, restaurants, beach bars, beach, etc )

This apartment was perfect—clean, comfortable, and in an ideal location. The view was gorgeous, the AC worked great, and the bed was super cozy. Just far enough from the late-night noise of Rainbow, but still close to everything. Our third stay in Grand Case and definitely not our last here!

Everything was lively - no complaints

The view was spectacular! The porch looks right onto the beach and you can see and hear the waves while laying in bed. Clean, beautifully decorated and fully equipped apartment right on the beach and close to all the great bars and restaurants Grand Case has to offer. The host could not be more helpful and even offered some great restaurant suggestions which we enjoyed.

While we stayed in October during shoulder season, this accommodation was priced lower than its neighbor but boasts the same, incredibly beautiful view and beach access. The open air kitchen is separated from the bedroom by a sliding glass door. Even with the door shut, the ocean is near enough that the sound will lull you to sleep at night. Grand Case is one of the best beaches on the island - an inlet with gentle waters and close to some of the finest restaurants within walking distance. The studio is perfect for 2 people, had what we needed to prepare simple breakfast, lunches snacks and drinks, and offers instant beach access and an unbeatable ocean view. You can see Anguilla across the way. The air conditioning turns off to save energy when you leave the apartment, and cools the place quickly when you return by pressing "turbo" mode. Our host and Charles his property manager offered gracious hospitality. Free parking in front of the building.

I really can’t say that there’s anything I didn’t like about the property. Being so close to the ocean, there’s going to be some minor wear.

I can’t rave enough about the location! From my second-floor studio, it worked like I could reach out and touch the ocean. It was simply amazing! The beach was literally outside the door of the ground floor. Parking is also available. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat, this is the spot. Just down the beach are several eateries of all types. There is a pharmacy and multiple grocery stores within walking distance as well as an ATM.

The studio is excellent! Beautiful location right on the private beach, fully equipped with everything needed, clean and perfect for 2 people. Wifi worked well. Lots of great restaurants abd small grocery within walking distance. Bruno and Barbara were great with communication, even offered to use the shower at another rental when the whole town was out of the water for 24 hrs, which we learned happens on St.Maarten.

Exceptional location right by the beautiful, turquoise ocean and only about 5 minutes' walk to more lively area with beach clubs, restaurants, shops etc. There is a bakery and supermarket nearby, as well as ATM. Wifi worked well which was important to me as I was combining a few weeks of work and holidays. The hosts Bruno and Barbara are super responsive, very kind and supportive. I could not recommend this place more, absolutely loved it and hope to return soon!

Dreadful smell from the bathroom

The place was not as expected. With a few little upgrades it could be more welcoming. E.g. only a 10ml of liquid soap was given to us (2 ladies) for shower gel AND handwash! not enough toilet paper. there were just 2 small rolls for our 6 night stay. we were expected to purchase it. Sorry but I'm on holiday surely I do not want to loose time buying toilet paper and handwash in a supermarket.

The location was perfect. The property manager kindly agreed to have us checked in earlier as we arrived before the expected time. We just left the luggages there and went to swim until the place was cleaned.

Owner was horrible. It had a card attached to the key you had to put in a slot to turn on power. When you left the air conditioner would shut off and be super hot when got back. The floors would be wet from the temperature change. Could not remove the key or card. Had to get another room for the rest of our stay. Rate this place a zero.

No water for 11 hours straight on first day of arrival. Owner told me it happens often but I’m the only guest to ever complain about it and could not understand why I was so unhappy about it and I should just accept it because it is normal - neighboring unit told me they had no water the day before, so for them it was 2 days in a row. He told me I was being unreasonable for not accepting it. Very dirty - lots of mold in shower tiles and grout, our feet were black after 5 minutes of arrival etc. Toaster did not work. Bed was like sleeping on concrete. Several other issues as well but you get the drift. Property manager - very poor communication. I still have not received a response from after 2 messages and we are now 6 days later. Refused to refund me money although promised he would “as a courtesy” Threatened me that he would add another charge on my credit card if I wrote a bad review. That’s probably why he has only 2 bad reviews.

Lots of mosquitos, mattress was uncomfortable, no fan in patio. lack of toiletries and linens, and no English channels on TV. The little bad odor was bearable after I purchased some scented candles and flushing toilet consistently.

The sound of the ocean was magnificent. Fully equipped Kitchen. Bruno responded to our issues in a timely manner, Room is comfortable in size. Felt secured in the location. If balcony will have been screened in and have a ceiling fan it would have been better to really enjoy the view and the ocean sound when sitting outside. Thanks Bruno and Barbara.
