Absolutely nothing

Lovely apartment, 2 minutes from the main area in Žabljak. Host was very friendly and interested to share information and recommendations. Breakfast was lovely. Easy access to activities in Durmitor National Park.

Our stay was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The place was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. Everything was exactly as described – even better in person. What truly made the difference was Jelena, the hostess. She was simply outstanding – warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Her kindness and attention to detail made us feel not just like guests, but truly cared for. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area – we will definitely return!

An unforgettable mountain escape! Jelena was an incredibly kind and cheerful host who welcomed us warmly. We stayed in a beautiful, cozy apartment equipped with everything we needed — including a fireplace and a charming library corner. The homemade breakfast with local delicacies was absolutely amazing! Whether you’re visiting for extreme adventures or, like us, just passing through Durmitor National Park on your way to the stunning Montenegrin coast, we highly recommend staying here.

Fabulous guest house well located in the ‘adventure capital town’ of Zabjlak. Everything is well designed and thoughtful in compact space. The hostess is warm, charming and super helpful. Great breakfasts 😍

I liked everything about my stay here! The room was cute, clean, and comfortable. The location was good, close to drive from the main road and close to walk to the center, but away from the noise of traffic and people. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was good. Breakfast was large and excellent. The hostess was so helpful and kind! I loved this area and would definitely stay here again if I come back.

Not a dislike, but a note: there isn't a washing machine, but the hostess will do your laundry (no additional cost). Either was good for me, but I know some people are very particular about doing their own laundry.

The apartment is huge (way bigger than I thought), and had plenty of space for two people. It was also immaculately clean. The best part was the hospitality and the lovely home cooked breakfast they provided, inclusive of delicious home made muffins and blueberry juice. It's also situated in a great location to visit Durmitor national park, the lake is close by and some gorgeous view points.

Excellent host, huge, delicious breakfast. This is a great option for hikers because the host will try to accommodate your schedule with breakfast serving time. The apartment was perfect for our family of 3. Our host was also very helpful and made us aware of an important road closure. Easy parking and quick walk to grocery store.

Nice large cabin; kitchen, living room & bathroom on first floor; bedroom and sitting corner on second floor; nice outside sitting area for breakfast & dinner (and more); excellent breakfast is included in the hotel price; excellent dinner offered (extra charge); very friendly and helpful host who gives advise on hiking, sightseeing, restaurants, panorama drives; we felt very welcome because of the friendly host and nice guest room

The host was fantastic. She provided us with tips for restaurants, excursions and must-sees in the region. She made a great breakfast. Always available, good humoured and super friendly. She made a difference. The accommodation is exactly what it promised on booking.com.

Adjusting the water temperature in the shower proved to be a little bit tricky.

We visited Žabljak in early May 2025 and booked our stay well in advance because we were impressed with Guest House Durmitor Paradise. The place lived up to our expectations—it’s stylish, well-kept, and gives you that true mountain vibe. Mornings were a highlight: a fantastic breakfast in the yard and incredible hiking tips from hostess Jelena—an experience we’ll always remember. If you're into soaking up mountain air, they’ve set up the perfect cozy spot in the yard to hang out by the fire for as long as you’d like. And I should say: the hostess was unbelievably friendly—she went way beyond what you’d expect!
