The rooms are modest, there are no curtains, the beds are decent at most and the bathroom is small. But for me the outside is more important.

The location of the hotel and the pool area are phenomenal. They offer a bar service around the pool which makes the perfect afternoon. The hotel is not too far from Kotor but far enough not to be in the "cruises" way all day.

the location is excellent, right on the bay front, restaurant on premises is very good, breakfast was also great. the staff went out of their way to help us get our car started as we had drained the battery.

Some minor things that felt a bit dishonest, charging for a 400ml beer and getting a 330ml beer. Sometimes the service was very slow and odd, told no sauces left at lunch, when you can see a sauce set on an unoccupied table that was just used. About a €6-€8 taxi to the old town, bus too irregular to be used really. On a night always told €10 minimum for the trip so be prepared for that (this is a lie but not worth arguing they are required to use the meter)

Everything you would want for relaxing days, nice size that the pool and waterfront areas are never too busy. Pool bar service and a good restaurant. Nice quiet location

Bed mattress wasn’t great. Additional charges for pool towels, access to sun beds and not being able to drink own water round the pool seemed unnecessary.

The rooms weren’t very spacious or comfortable, shower was fine but overall bathroom and rooms need updating as other reviews have said. Fine for a few nights.

Some of the waiters were totally disinterested and unhelpful. No help with bags offered by reception. Loads of steps everywhere, including our third floor room. No lifts. 10% on top of all drinks and meals automatically added. Difficult narrow road to access hotel location, having to stop every few minutes enabling traffic from other direction to pass. No barrier on edge of road to water in places was quite scary.

The Hotel Splendido is in an idyllic setting with a beautiful saltwater swimming pool and little private beach.

The actual indoor hotel was incredibly outdated. Our toilet seat was basically under the sink it was so cramped. Most of the staff were so so lovely but some were not the most polite or helpful. You also had to pay for beach/pool towels and food was fairly expensive.

Beautiful pool with the option to swim in the sea too. The outdoor seating for breakfast/dinner etc and general outdoor area is top notch. The breakfast buffet was great. €10 euro taxi to kotor old town

Some of the staff were a little lacking in hospitality but others were very friendly and efficient.. We were not told about a charge for beach towels however they waivered the fee at check out. The beach area is beautifully soothing.

The hotel was in a fantastic location. The scenery was breathtaking and I would definitely return Rooms were clean and adequate for our needs. Breakfast was sufficient with a choice for most but food for lunch and dinner were definitely better.

The room is a bit dated, but the views and atmosphere of the hotel makes up for it.

The staff were very friendly and very accommodating. The view from the room was amazing, one of the best views from a hotel room that I have ever seen. Also the breakfast was very good with a lot of options whilst taking in all the view was an amazing experience. Also the pool with the again that view was terrific. The location is a bit off the old town, but it is a short taxi ride away. It was good to get away from the hustle and bustle of the old town at the end of the day and to just relax in the resort like atmosphere.

We were early in the season and almost the only guests in the hotel. We were upgraded to a suite overlooking the lake. The location of the hotel and views are beautiful. Having parking was essential to us. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Providing us with some great recommendations. The food in the restaurant was excellent and plentiful. We will definitely return.

There wasn't any orange juice at breakfast. There should have been.

The location of the hotel and the view are magnificent. The rooms are clean and were cleaned throughout our stay. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was quite sufficient. We had dinner at the hotel one night, it was delicious and enjoyable. The lady who helped us with the meal was extremely attentive and helpful.

Room was fairly basic and in need of some modernisation. Location is quite far away with a 50 minute walk to Kotor along a dangerous road with no footpath and no barriers to prevent cars from accidents. We arrived at 9pm and there was no food options available to us at that time around the area or in the hotel.

The view from our room was stunning. All staff were very friendly and attentive with information and answered all of our questions. Great to have parking available.
