How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewThe hotel was in a very good location, the breakfast was fantastic, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
However, it's worth noting that the bed linen and blanket for the child were not prepared in the room. The view from the balcony was messy and did not match the description provided. We asked the hotel reception to call a taxi so we could go to Sveti Stefan (5 km from the hotel). As a result, we ended up paying €20 for a 5 km ride. On the way back, we caught a taxi on the street and paid only €4. It makes you wonder if the hotel has a secret agreement with the taxi company to overcharge tourists. The infinity pool could use some renovation, but the pool bar does serve great cocktails.

Verified reviewThe location is perfect, with an outstanding and breathtaking view. The staff are kind and helpful, making the stay very pleasant. The breakfast, however, could be improved, and the bathroom would benefit from some enhancements.

Verified reviewFabulous view to the beach, spacy rooms and lavish breakfast. Most of the Staff were great and really helpful. There is an external lift that goes directly down to the beach which is amazing.
The parking space is not enough so you have to leave your keys in reception all day and night.I found my car unlocked in the morning. Some of the staff seem to be rude and unsmiling .We were trying to unload our stuff from the car and hotel bus driver was nervous for waiting 2 minutes. The pool at the rooftop is too small and the pool bar as well. This is not clear from the photos in booking.com.

Verified reviewAs a family of three we really enjoyed staying here. We arrived very late, but checking in was no problem and very fast. We travelled by car. There is a dedicated parking for guests. Since it is not that large, it was necessary to double park the cars. We could leave the keys of the car at the reception, and they took care of moving cars when someone who was blocked had to leave. The room and bathroom was large and clean. We were on the first floor on the left side. This had the advantage that our balcony was in the shade during the day (temperatures went up to 40C) so the room stayed at nice temperature even when it was very hot (we did not have to use the air-conditioning). The beach can be reached by reserved elevator for hotel guests, so it is really very nearby. It also leads to the restaurant for breakfast, which is located right at the beach-boulevard. Breakfast had very wide selection of things to choose from. Also here the staff was very friendly. On the roof there is a small swimming pool and whirlpool as well as a bar. On the reception level there is a large space with toys where kids can play. We stayed for a week and could definitely have stayed longer.
There is not really anything that was bad about the hotel. We can definitely recommend it!

Verified reviewGreat view to Becici Bay and good location with elevator to the sea shore and promenade. Room was clean and breakfast was very good! The small pool has great view with sun-beds and hot-tab available, which was a good way to relax after a day of traveling. Free parking always had available spots (if not - ask the reception for help), and is a big plus since the area is very busy. Hotel accepts card or cash (some other hotels accept only cash). But above all - the staff was very helpful and professional, and went above and beyond to help us. Thank you!
Wi-Fi was very slow in the rooms but fast at the pool :) Becici is less crowded than Budva and has a relaxed promenade and good restaurants, but also much less night life than Budva. It's great if you look for relaxed atmosphere, and you can drive to Budva if you want the "big city" activities.

Verified reviewthe hotel rooms with its balconies are just beautifull. The view from the top of the hill down to the Bay is stunning ...Reality is far better than pictures. This is the main reason we have come here again. Pool on the roof is amazing. The stuff is very helpfull. Breakfast is just ordinary, but fully satisfactory. Eating outside is big plus.
Area around the hotel (Rafailoviči, Bečići)is a bit shaby. Restaurants, beaches, promenade are calling for an upgrade. Prices are going up but location sleeps in last century and will have the problem to compete with Croatia if prices will be the same. Especially if traffic and border waitings stays that horrible. 80km from Cavtat to hotel takes more than 3+ hours by car, even if you use ferry!!! Area is living on Russian tourists, who cannot travel easily to EU countries...this will change

Verified reviewWe stayed as a couple in a room on the 4th floor with a sea view — a beautiful, spacious, and comfortable room. Everything was perfectly clean, and all the hotel staff were very attentive and friendly. Since we arrived from the airport in a rental car, we were provided with a convenient parking spot. As for breakfast — the buffet was quite varied and tasty, offering a wide selection of salads, fruits, cheese and cold cuts, as well as hot dishes. The restaurant manager and the waitstaff were very attentive and helpful. We thank the entire hotel staff for the warm welcome and excellent service. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends and acquaintances.

Verified reviewI love everything, the view from my room was breathtaking, and all the staff is really friendly. The breakfast was very good and had plenty of choice.
There is not enough car parking, sometimes your car gets blocked by other cars, and you have to ask the staff to remove the cars.

Verified reviewLocation is not best though close to beaches
They lied on the booking.com info by saying that they have a private beach. They did not have any beach. It was at the worst part of the area with no beach, just stones.

Verified reviewThe rooms are clean and well maintained. the view from the room is amazing
The pool is fairly small. It is quite difficult to get to the home apartment rooms using the elevator - the elevator gets you to half floor up or down and you have to use different elevator from the main elevator.

Verified reviewIt was closer to the beach and lots of restaurants around. Also, there was a nice DJ lounge behind the hotel and some live bands around. The kitchen staff were friendly, and the morning breakfast food choices were excellent.
The WiFi network connection was poor a bit
