Beds are crammed in hardly any room to get in and out and terrible shower area in tiny toilet serving too many people

The bathroom was tiny with no lock on the door. The staff didnt speak English, although I didn’t have a problem communicating with them during my 2 nights, it would have made it easier.

The room is very basic, nothing to complain about. The staff were amazing, both Natasha and the other women (Im sorry I can’t remember her name) were lovely, always happy to help and have lots of positive energy. The location is perfect, directly in the old town.

Difficult to find (go to DHL office). Didn’t answer phone when I called lost. Only Russian spoken and no attempt to use translate app.

There are things to improve but if you have an adventurous spirit it’s the right place for you.

It stank was dirty there were stains on the mattress. The shower was in the room with only a full length glass door,no lock!! There was another toilet/shower unit at the top of the stairs as no lock and no privacy very unsafe. Another traveller was complaining in the morning and the lady said F**K you leave now

The bed was broken we had to physically move the bed slats for the upper bunk so that the bed would not break.

The fact that the owners are very hands on and will try to grab your arm and touch you whenever they can. The beds are also not great with mine missing a wooden slab so I was sinking into my bed.

When I arrived they clearly didn’t have a bed for me; whether they overbooked or forgot I was coming I’m not sure. They put me in a room that was obviously a last resort as the mattresses were filthy and we had to make our own beds, there was nowhere to put our valuables nor was there a key for the room door. There was nowhere TV, no AC, no fan, no coffee machine (all stated present in the booking.com page). There were also no locks on the toilet or shower door. On top of all this, the owner demanded the cost of the hostel in cash and refused card, she then said she had no change to give me until tomorrow. I’d had the worst experience based on the above and so checked out within the day (I’d arranged to stay for 3 nights) to which she refused to even give me my change never mind a refund on the other 2 nights. I have travelled to North America, Australasia, Asia and now Europe and this is by far the worst hostel experience I have ever had - I’m absolutely disgusted

- no place to lock up possessions despite booking.com listing saying so. Doors are all unlocked and open, anyone could walk right in. - staff don't speak any language other than Russian despite the booking.com listing saying so. - toilet doors don't lock, shower is on top of toilet so everything is always wet and smelly, doors are transparent so you can watch people on the toilet or showering - mild overcrowding with single beds wedged between bunk beds - you're presented with a mattress without a cover (dirty) and sheets/pillows of dubious cleanliness. I found someone's dirty underwear under my pillow. - floor and under beds very unclean. - staff do not take complaints seriously. I left and got another hostel. The listing is not truthful, and it should be amended or taken down.

Despite only speaking Russian staff seem to do their best with what is a truly rubbish hostel. Don't stay here.

Whatever you do do NOT book this hostel. The price is tempting but the fact that it is a hostel is incorrect. It is more of beds in a dirty room... Upon our arrival the hosts spoke only Russian so we didn't understand anything they said. The house is rather disgusting, seems like they haven't cleaned in several years. Also I couldn't sleep since people, I think including the hosts had like a party just outside until super late. The toilet I don't even want to speak about... Even if you are looking for a cheap option save yourselves because this is NOT it.

Modernised clean 'old town' house, so don't expect a huge hostel. Common area is the outdoor balcony kitchen/dining room or a cafe type table on the cobblestones outside the entrance. All the negative reviews seem to be from people on a 2 week holiday who expect a hotel experience. There should be a separate rating for travelers (+6 month) as we know the difference between a hostel and a 3 star hotel. This place is very clean, and I didn't see any bugs in or out of the rooms. Not sure what the 1 star reviews are complaining about.

Difficult to find Staff speaks only Russian The Staff kicked me out after check out. It was not allowed to wait with the Luggage on the Terrace. The Pictures on Booking don't correspond to Reality Unfriendly Staff except Sveta You can't look the bathroom at the first floor The Dorm Room with the 4 beds is very small. The other dorm room is bigger.

Upon arrival a man (who belongs to the guesthouse is some way) is walking around in a Speedo, not very comfortable when you arrive as a guest. But the main problem, the hostel is very dirty! We got a 2 person room, very tiny but that is okay and to be expected for this price, but underneath the bed there were a lot of BEDBUGS! There also was a joint. Everything about the whole room wasn't cleaned properly. There also were issues with the bathroom (in another room, only 1 working shower, no proper door, etc.) We felt so uncomfortable (also after reading reviews of the hosts not being very pleasant people) that we packed our stuff and left without seeing them again. Don't be fooled by the location and the price, it is not worth it!!

The most disgusting hostel I have ever been there was bedbugs everywhere, the woman who works is horrible person she yelled at me for no reason and she doesn’t speak English I couldn’t even understand why she was yelling at me, the owner michel walks around naked and drunk, honestly if you want to enjoy your vacation stay away from it

The hostel is very cozy and perfectly located in the heart of Budva’s Old Town — it truly feels like you’re living in a castle! Everything is clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. There’s a kitchen where you can cook your meals, and a lovely terrace where you can relax, eat, work, or chat with other travelers. Such a pleasant and warm atmosphere — I really enjoyed my stay! ❤️
