The noise at night with the ice cream rolling cart right below the window however we had earplugs so wasn’t too much of a problem. Some of the staff also weren’t the friendliest however one lady on reception was very lovely.

The location is amazing! Right in the middle of old town. Breakfast was good and lovely big bathroom and windows that look out into the old town. Good aircon and a wee fridge in the room which was great.

Be prepared for a lot of noise at night — sleeping can be difficult. The room is also much darker than expected.

Amazing location right in the old town of Kotor, but actually nice and quiet at night. Room was very comfortable. Plenty of choice for breakfast (we would have liked some fresh fruit, but it was a national holiday so shops were closed, which might explain why there wasnt any that day). No problem to leave bags while we explored the following day.

I stayed one night at Hotel Marija in the heart of Kotor's Old Town and really enjoyed the experience. The location is absolutely perfect if you want to soak in the charm and history of the old town-everything is right at your doorstep. The room itself was clean, with a tasteful blend of old-world character and modern comfort. The staff were friendly, professional, and made check-in and check-out smooth and easy. I also appreciated the little touches like the bathrobes, which added a nice extra bit of comfort to the stay. One thing to keep in mind: due to the central location, it can be quite noisy even at night. If you're a light sleeper, a pair of earplugs would definitely come in handy.

Lack of parking. Need to park outside the city walks for a hefty 20 euro per night.

The location is right in the middle of the old town, which was perfect. The accommodation is arranged in a classic 1920 style. Quiet interesting. Room with a view on the narrow city street. Very romantic. Breakfast homemade was very tasty and plenty to choose from. Highly recommend for adult couples.

Very good location, just inside the old Town . Beside the Church. Hands up to the Staff, they are very helpful and friendly . We were also allowed to check in early. Homey atmosphere. I recommend this hotel.

The radiators didnt work and we had to use the AC at a high temperature for heating. This meant that the bathroom was quite cold as it was not heated. The water in the shower was not very hot and the temperature kept fluctuating and we had to constantly adjust it to keep the temperature right. The lightning in the room was also very dim and depressing and the TV didnt work. We asked for the TV to be fixed but nothing was done in the two days we were there. The breakfast was good but they should have had more hot food options.

The location was excellent as the hotel was in the heart of the old Kotor within the city walls and very close to the central bus station ~12 mins walk. The hotel was very nicely decorated and had a nice old world charm to it. The staff were friendly and helpful and gave good restaurant recommendations in the area.

There are no blackout blinds in the room. A little dusty and outdated. There is no shower head holder. There is also no lift. Location is within the city walls, the church bells can be heard from the room, just a heads up if you are a light sleeper.

Great location, 2 mins from the main sea gate. The WiFi is accessible in all areas. There is option to have eggs cooked for breakfast. They were respectful of not wanting to get the room cleaned everyday.

Unfortunately; as the hotel is in the castle, all the areas are very narrow. I think in Kotor, inside the castle is not comfartable at all for family visitors. There might be some exceptions.

Only issue for me is I don’t eat cold eggs and most breakfast items are egg based. There is enough cheese and ham, fruit etc but toast maybe a nice extra for next time. I will be booking again

Paid 95€ for one night, which I thought was too much for the general quality of the hotel. Cleaning and maintenance could be improved. Hotel staff could also be nicer, though the breakfast employee was kind.

It’s very loud. The windows aren’t noise proof or anything and you can hear people going by and all the sounds of the streets. We barely slept that night :)
