Quality of Breakfast, 50€ for sunbeds, extremely loud music, reception communication (there was a private marriage and we as hotel guests we not allowed to eat at the hotel restaurant that night)

All in all a good stay. Great pool and private beach / ocean area. Breakfast can be improved. Also we found it a bit weird that hotel guests need to pay 50€ for a sunbed at the beach club so we just used the ones for free at the hotel area and not the public "party area". Hotel itself, garden, surroundings, rooms and gym beautiful. Also great food quality at dinner :) In general recommendable.

Burst water pipe in the town our first afternoon. No water until that evening m. We weren’t even informed about it and had to go the local store to buy ourselves water to brush our teeth. Had this been my hotel every guest would have been left with free water and a note explaining the situation. Room service that evening was a shambles . The order took ages and then was incomplete. No offer of an apology or to take the item off which was incorrect. We realise the hotel is new however the feedback we gave didn’t seem to have any impact on how the management dealt with our complains . Dinner in the hotel as also disappointed. We thought we ordered a 1kg piece of fish which took 15 minutes to fillet by which time all the sides were cold . No apology and when we complained we were offered alcohol and desserts which we didn’t want . When the bill came the fish was 1.6 kg so a lot more expensive. The manager just didn’t care . If you are a new business you should be going out of your way to keep clients happy . My friends had constant issues with their AC which was frustrating. It’s such a shame as it’s such a lovely hotel and not sure it will succeed as seems to be run by amateurs at the highest level . Don’t go with high expectations of service and then you won’t be disappointed.

The hotel is in a gorgeous place, on the coast. Rooms are lovely . We had 3 and all were a good size. Reception staff were all helpful, especially yovanna. The pool and beach area were lovely . Breakfast was chaotic and there only seemed one staff member serving who was great but struggling to help everyone. Poke bowl lunches were nice but not many options and looking around 18 euros for lunch . The hotel is quite isolated and nowhere is in walking distance . There is a convenient store about 20 mins walk away. Staff encourage you to go to nearby restaurants (apparently the owner owns them) via water taxi , the one at Porto jMontenegro was ok and buzzy. However the staff didn’t have a great knowledge of any low key places. Overall the hotel was gorgeous but the staff have no power or authority to do much if there is an issue and unfortunately there were a few. Things could have been dealt with much better.

Employees in the reception and restaurant need alot of training in terms of baheviour and also in serving (except for Andrej who was very professional). The idea of renting the sunbeds poolside even if you are a hotel guest is not acceptable. They ask you to use few sunbeds which are free while the rest are with charges. On check out the reception ordered a taxi to go to airport and agreed to come at 3pm. Once taxi arrived at 3 pm and reception did not even bother to inform us and said we forgot and two other ladies took that taxi! If employees improve their professionalism i believe the hotel will deserve a better rating.

Very spacious room. Excellent room and clean and luxurious hotel. Special thanks to Anderj Oprasnik (waiter at the restaurant) who was very friendly and I noticed he is the only waiter doing effort and working while others were not good at all.

This “hotel” is a disgrace and a scam. We arrived to a room with hair in the bed, used toilet paper on the floor, and even feces on the broom. I was so disgusted I vomited. This is not a 5-star hotel — it’s a health hazard. When we asked for another room, staff gave us a key to one that was ALREADY OCCUPIED. Imagine opening a door to strangers sleeping inside. Zero safety, zero professionalism. The entire stay was chaos: no water in the bathroom for hours, sewage-smelling towels, lost belongings, rude staff who humiliated us publicly, and room keys not working all day. We even had to pay €240 extra for sunbeds because the hotel couldn’t provide what we booked. This place is FILTHY, unsafe, and completely mismanaged. The staff are rude, careless, and disrespectful. Do yourself a favor: DO NOT BOOK HERE unless you want your holiday ruined.

Gym equipment outdated. The floor there is always wet because of the pool. Service - some staff is lazy and admits it. When asked for water - a receptionist told me “I’m supposed to fill the fridge with bottles but I am too lazy to do it”. Unacceptable. At the restaurant - some waiters are a bit rude. They don’t seem to care. Coming too late. Not servicing properly. And then justify they are busy doing other things.

Sadly the tranquility is spoilt by the constant beats of chilled house and live DJ at the weekend catering for the Beach Club that dominates the hotel vibe. At busy weekends the beach club members spill out to the hotel’s private pool area making it hard to have a seat after 12pm. The staff are super friendly but inattentive by the pool area. They need to patrol more and ask patrons if they need anything like beach towels / drinks or umbrellas being closed / opened. The location is amazing but guests should be prepared to pay up to 35 Euros each way to Kotor and Tivat. The hotel has a number of restaurants which get poor reviews and are over priced but we did visit Mala Ribarsko in Porto Novi with the complimentary water taxi which was magical - although most of the menu was not available but the catch of the day was delicious and good value.

Monte Palm Beach is in a prized location on Kotor Bay with magnificent views and hotel aesthetics that feel like a cool Ibiza / Miami Beach resort. It’s perfect for couples, families with teens and young adults or hipsters looking for a relaxed vibe with a beach club vibe. The staff, especially Reception and bell boys were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Mixed Experience — Not Worth the Price Check-in Experience: We arrived early, around 9–10 AM, knowing that official check-in is at 3 PM. We were told we’d be notified as soon as the room was ready. However, no one contacted us, and only when we returned at 3 PM did we find out the room had already been ready for some time. We were offered lockers in the spa and told to enjoy the beach while waiting. But when we got to the beach, every sunbed had a "reserved" sign, no staff in sight, no one to ask — we just had to take a spot on our own. Room & Housekeeping: The bathroom fixtures were falling apart. For three days, our room wasn’t cleaned, even though we were gone from 9 AM to 4 PM daily. It seemed like they assumed I was staying alone — we received only one bottle of water, one toothbrush set. Nothing changed until I complained strongly via phone and WhatsApp. After that, housekeeping finally started coming regularly. But no fresh towels or turndown service in the evening. Restaurants: The hotel website lists many restaurants, but most of them are not on-site — they are affiliated venues off property that you need to travel to. The hotel itself has only one small restaurant with a very limited menu and unreasonable prices. Breakfast selection is extremely poor, service is slow and disorganized. Only later did we learn that you could order eggs or pancakes, but only if you managed to chase down a server and ask specifically. Staff seemed uninterested, inattentive, and barely acknowledged guests. No one greeted us when we entered. They even removed our ashtray and never brought a replacement. On our first night, we had to leave without paying the bill because no one came to our table for over 30 minutes. We spent the rest of the week trying to get someone to close that bill, but nothing was resolved — just empty promises. Beach Service: There was essentially no beach service. Staff didn’t check on us.

    Nothing

It’s not a negative but I hadn’t realised that the pool club is part of the hotel. So as a hotel guests you have access to 2 pools with palm trees around them and the sea front but there’s another pool which is for the beach/pool club guests and you would have to pay separately for that but there was plenty of room for hotel guests elsewhere and the pool/beach club was a different vibe. You could hear the DJ around the property but it wasn’t so loud it disturbed you.

We had a great stay, we spent the last 2 days of a 10 day trip here and I wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel feels very new, it is beautifully decorated and the views are great, particularly from the room’s balcony. This hotel had the most comfortable bed and the best air con of our trip. Also the best hairdryer. The food was really, really excellent. The service at the loungers was mixed but the service at restaurant was perfect and all the waiters were lovely. Staying here I felt like we got to see the more glam side of Montenegro. Honestly I would come back just to this hotel for a weekend in the sun. It’s maximum 15 minutes from the airport but you’re not disturb by the plane noise.

I booked a particular room and paid more for a full sea view with a terrace, but instead they put me in a room in the basement with a pool view! Completely the opposite of what I booked, I had to compromise for the first night and stay in that room, with the excuse that the hotel is fully booked! Moreover, the AC was not working in that wrong room, so I had to stay in the wrong hot room for the first night. The worst part is that I had to complain and fight many times to be able to get my right later to be shifted to the right room which I originally booked, this is not the kind of experience you expect on your vacation from a "resort" which promotes they're luxurious and high end, the price is way over for this kind of service and management. It's a great place, but sadly, poor management and service ruin it.

The place is amazing, with a fantastic view, luxurious, and clean. However, it lacks major points, which ruined the overall experience, mainly because of bad management.
