How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewThe location was ok as it was close to the bus station but not good for anything else.
Room did NOT have ac and was so hot. Probably about 30 degrees of humid heat in the morning. When walking out of the room the temperature dropped with around 10 degrees as other rooms did seem to have ac. I had to leave. They offered to move me to a dodgy off site apartment for a night or two and then I Lule had to move back into another room. When I declined as I did not feel safe doing this, they agreed to pay back the rest of my stay. However they never did, even if they promised to do so in lots of correspondence. Room very small which would not have been a problem if the Ac had worked. There were a small window in the toilet but as there were lots of mosquitos outside I had to have it closed. Breakfast was very unhealthy filled with dripping fat.

Verified reviewConveniently located walking distance to a bus station which was what I needed. The hotel provided onsite car park. I’ve been offered a late check out so was very grateful. Old fashion decor alert! 😉

Verified reviewBreakfast was good. Restaurant proposed variety of dishes and not in the morning only. Great palinka and grilled meat with vegetables.
minor problems were with warm water during the first day, but it was not for a long time. TV had only programs in Serbian language, but it is not im[portant , as the sea was not far from the hotel

Verified reviewClose to the bus station
Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of a disaster. Despite being outrageously overpriced, the hotel lacked even the most basic amenities. There was no elevator, and we were forced to haul our suitcases up to the 4th floor ourselves. The staff? Rude and unhelpful. We booked a "Superior Double Room," which turned out to be a glorified closet. The room was so small that we couldn't even open our suitcase without blocking the door. The air was very dusty, and the air conditioning was practically useless, stuck at one temperature and spewing out dusty air. To make matters worse, the tiny window was useless for drying towels, adding to the discomfort. The bed was a complete nightmare. It felt as though the mattress had been turned upside down, with the springs digging into our backs. My partner and I woke up every morning with aching backs and sore ribs. The lack of a shower door meant water splashed everywhere, and the towels provided were so small they might as well have been napkins. Breakfast was another disappointment. The food was horrible, and the options were limited. We ended up eating elsewhere because we just couldn't stomach it. In summary, this hotel is a joke. Overpriced, uncomfortable, and staffed by rude individuals. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away.

Verified reviewAmazing hotel so close to lots of shops, restaurants, the bus station, walk into the old town etc. Breakfast was good. Super friendly staff and my room was very clean and comfortable. It was the perfect place to explore!
Not sure if there was a restaurant or not as other people were eating but when I asked for the menu, they said no. No tea and coffee facilities in the room as advertised and the hairdryer didn't work in my room. But it was no big deal as I found a lovely coffee shop in the old town.

Verified reviewJust a couple minutes walk from the main bus station, the hotel will probably the best choice for those who wanna be the closest to the station. Most standard rooms come with a balcony. Single room is more like a make-shift room just enough for a single bed and a wardrobe at the very end of the top floor with no window (only one window in the bathroom) and balcony (but the plus side is you get the least noise disruption). Not a huge issue for one-nighter as the A/C can compensate the ventilation.
The hotel cant hold luggage after check-out (the restaurant attached to the hotel can't hold luggage either), so you need to figure out yourself between 11am check-out and your next bus departure. There is no 24/7 reception but the restaurant staff would help with check in/out.

Verified reviewGood breakfast. Nice location if you don't mind a little walk -- especially at this price in Budva. Nothing uncomfortable about the room or hotel.
The room is a bit dated. There was some confusion about the room number on the key and in the course of correcting it I got a lesser room than the one the first key went to -- though it might have been the proper room in the first place.

Verified reviewI stay in this hotel frequently. The hotel is clean, breakfast is delicious. Whenever I need something they help me fast. And the most important thing is hotel staff are kind and friendly people, this is the number one reason that I choose this hotel. You feel like you are at home. Thank you so much to the hotel workers & owners.

Maybe they have other better rooms but this one was below decent for my taste. I didn’t spend the night there I insist, checked-in and left immediately

Verified reviewThe cuisine was good. The breakfast was satisfying. Also, the hotel has a restaurant with a good selection and reasonable prices. The portions were also enough to fill you up. Would definitely recommend the restaurant. The stuff was friendly and helpful. The location was okay, 15 m walk to the nearest beach, about half an hour walk to the old town.
The bathroom needs some renovation. Some of the staff was old, like the shower head, the door handle. Also, it is important to have different sizes of towels for face and showering. Sometimes, each guest was provided with one towel, sometimes with two towels of the same size.
