Our room was not cleaned very well or very regularly through our 5 night stay. Breakfast buffet is solid, but uninspired. The staff was great overall but check in felt messy. Biggest issue is that the place is rather overpriced

Dinner at the hotel restaurant (not mudra) was OK.

We had wonderful days at Huma. We made two reservations and stayed in two different rooms, both spacious and very bright. The sea view is breathtaking. The beach club is also perfect for spending the day and having lunch, and it also has showers and restrooms. Mudra restaurant is great for dinner, with spectacular sunset views. Breakfast is very complete and delicious.

It’s being advertised as a hotel with a ‘sand beach”. The beach is a small gravel one. You must have swimming shoes to walk into the water.

Ideal location! It’s clean, modern and very well run. Everybody from the management, to the people who work at the front desk, guys working at the beach has been extremely professional. We especially want to recognize and thank Manager Tatiana, who helped us to get a better room, Anna working at the front desk, Savo, working at the beach.

The hotel did not communicate well (we asked to reserve parking, were told parking was available but never received a confirmation; when we arrived, there was thankfully one space left, however, I have received a reply from the hotel about 2 days after we left). The room needed a serious deep clean. For the price / 5 star hotel, the room was not in a great condition.

The hotel's location is exceptional with a beach bar available to guests where you can relax. We also loved our room which was a very nice size and had beautiful view of the bay.

There is no place where u can change diapers. Also on the beach the service is a bit confusing, they charge u every time u order something, without u asking for the bill. It would be great if they could just ask ur room number and add it to your bill. Besides that we also need to be looking for the staff all the time as they don’t go around the beach to see if people wanna order something. It would be great if u guys could make some improvements on the service.

This is my third stay at Huma and it’s my favorite hotel in Montenegro! The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. The rooms are spacious with a magical view. Mudra Restaurant is fantastic – I highly recommend the lobster served both hot and cold, as well as the tomato carpaccio. 10/10 from me!

Our stay at Huma Hotel was exceptional! The location is perfect – right by the sea, with a private beach that offers complete comfort and tranquility. Short stay, but a perfect experience Huma Kotor Bay Hotel is perfectly situated right on the coast, offering an unbelievably beautiful view of the Bay of Kotor. The room was spacious, modernly furnished, clean, and extremely comfortable – ideal for complete relaxation and enjoyment. Breakfast was rich, carefully selected, and of very high quality, served in a perfect morning atmosphere. The hotel staff were extremely professional, kind, and attentive, making me feel genuinely welcomed and valued. Dinner at the Mudra Art restaurant deserves special recognition – a top-level culinary experience, with sophisticated flavors and a wonderful ambiance.

Breakfast at Huma Kotor Bay was truly delightful. They have a live egg station where you can order your eggs just the way you like them, and another one for freshly made pancakes. The sunbed saving I found to be an issue and distasteful. There was a morning we went to the pool and there were only myself & husband, and 1 other lady, and every other sun bed had been ‘saved’. The same thing occurred at the beach, and it was also hard to tell at times whether people had just been lazy and left their towels behind, or whether the beds were being saved. I did see other people asking staff about whether they could take these beds (because it’d be hours sometimes with no one using them), and they were rejected, allowing people to keep doing this. Parking was also an issue. It was advertised that there was plenty of parking on the property which is why we decided to get a hire car, to then have to park at our own risk somewhere on the side of the road a few mins away from the hotel because no parking was available was a bit frustrating. Housekeeping was great, however a couple of times we were given towels with holes in them. Just overall not quite on par for what is meant to be a 5 star accommodation.

The property is well maintained with nice facilities. Our room was also very spacious, and a great view. Staff were lovely. Onsite spa was great! I didn’t get a chance to use the gym, but it appeared more well equipped than most hotel gyms I’ve been to. Not too far from old town if you don’t mind a 25min+ walk.

This hotel truly impressed me, first and foremost with its location. It is situated in the heart of the enchanting town of Dobrota, close to the Old Town of Kotor. I was also delighted by the fact that it has its own comfortable beach with a beach bar and a lovely restaurant. The food at the hotel was also good, and I was especially amazed by the breathtaking view from the rooms. Other hotel facilities were excellent as well. My expectations were truly met, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

What I don’t like about the property is that everything you’re buying inside the property like food or drinks is ridiculously expensive not worth it at all . the food at the restaurant is very expensive not worth the money at all €52 euro for a steak 🥩 that was badly cooked…. Pasta €42 very expensive Drinks in your room Redbull €10 Fanta or Coke €5.. Property should try and reduce the price of food and drink. They should do better really 🤔

We stayed at this hotel as a couple in late June–early July 2025. At first, we were disappointed that—despite our prior emails and requests—the hotel couldn’t accommodate an early check-in, even though there was a four-hour window between check-out and check-in times. Our request to adjust the stay dates was also declined. However, from the second day onward, our experience completely turned around—thanks in large part to the Food & Beverages Manager, Gül. He truly elevated our stay, showing us the level of service we’re used to (we work in hospitality ourselves and know what good service means). He was always attentive, helpful, and proactive in addressing any of our needs. We sincerely hope Gül will still be there next season when we return—it would be a pleasure to see him again. A true professional. We’ll definitely be back. A few practical tips: consider bringing special reef shoes, as the beach is pebbly and the stones here are particularly sharp—walking barefoot can be uncomfortable. Suggestions for the hotel: we’d love to see a loyalty program, even though the hotel isn’t part of a large chain. It would be a great incentive for returning guests. Also, during our visit, the spa sometimes had empty liquid soap dispensers and clogged shower drains—minor issues, but worth addressing. Overall rating: 5/5—and much of that is thanks to one outstanding professional. Looking forward to next season!

The Virtu Beach Bar quickly became our favourite spot during the day — relaxed yet stylish, with refreshing cocktails, impeccable service, and a perfect view of the sea. It’s truly the best beach bar in the region. And then came the sunset at Mudra Fine Dining Restaurant — an experience that’s hard to put into words. The setting sun painting the sky over the bay while we enjoyed exquisite fine dining was absolutely unforgettable. It’s the kind of moment that stays with you forever. If you're looking for a luxurious and serene getaway where every detail is carefully curated for your enjoyment, Huma Kotor Bay is the place. I can’t recommend it highly enough — we’ll definitely be returning!
