There is no beach of the hotel despite of the description, only a mini rockish beach, where you cannot go into the water. The beach on the picture is others property which is payable. The sanded beach is so far even with car. The bathroom needs a big renewal, not visible nowhere in the ads.

The view for the sea is beautiful. The ongoing room cleaning is perfect.

Sunbeds on the beach of the hotel where it says that the price is 10€, but they are actually 15€ because you have to pay extra for a sponge, so that you don't lie on the board. And €15 is fine, just don't use those marketing tricks.

Wifi is probably the only thing which was a bit of a headache, worked perfectly in the common areas but it was not great in the room.

We stayed in Albatros for 3 nights. So, in all honesty after we arrived I started checking other hotels nearby to go somewhere else, it is an oldish hotel but it grew on us. The whole hotel has this feeling that you feel like you step back in time, the architecture and the recepcionist area just so beautiful, we kept looking for old pictures on the wall hoping to see how those lavish people partied back in the 70’ 80’! Just desperately want to play black jack in a nice long dress with diamond neclace. (Please put some pics on the wall everyone wants to feel that real Albatros Hotel feeling!) Overall the room was clean, there was no smell, AC worked perfectly, balcony was a nice addition. There was daily housekeeping - new towels and made our bed. (Most comfortable bed we slept in during our 10 days road trip) We went for the half-board option, breakfast only has savoury option (some honey and jams are provided but that’s it), dinner has starter/main/dessert, food was tasty if you like the food in the Balkan but definitely worth at least trying it. Location is 10/10, there is a private beach where sunbeds with umbrella costs 10EUR per day, no loud techno/disco music but if you prefer that you can walk a bit further and plenty of beaches are available. The hotel is a good 15-20 mins walk from the promenade with many restaurants/bars/shop etc, there is a big night life in Ulcinj. There is a bus service from the hotel to the center - we didn’t try it but saw the minibus passing by. There was a 0-24 reception desk service, all of the staff were very nice and kind! :) Overall, it was a nice experience definitely worth a try!

It is not that i did not like, but i would suggest the breakfast to have more variety of standart food at least one type of fruit, cereals, and something different from food in order to be a 10 out of 10 antique hotel. And also the wiffi to be even better at rooms.

Overall the hotel is a old style type of hotel but very well kept, the staff is amazing and very helpful you just have to ask and they will try to make a solution...

The hotel is a very old construction with no renovation at all. The beds were totally uncomfortable, the AC hardly worked, the elevator was very old and insecure. The room wasn’t cleaned properly, I even noticed small insects in the bathroom coming out of the floor!! The food was very poor. Based on what we paid for that is totally not worth it!! I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone. Totally a waste of money!

The stuff was rude, they gave me the wrong room, they kept me going around, finally gave me a better room, just to call me later telling me i have to pay 50€ more.. so unprofessional... The lights went off and it was 2 am and the stuff told me Just go to sleep will fix it in the morning... when the sun goes up and its daylight?!?!😃. The breakfast was so cheap and not fresh. Idk i really had an awful experience i'm never going there again ever

It was definitely not what we were expecting. The room was not exactly clean when we arrived, there was dust on the furniture and the linen was so old it had holes in it. The double bed we were supposed to have was in fact 2 single beds put together. The chairs on the balcony were broken, you couldn’t sit on them. The bathroom looks awful, there is no shower curtain so when you take a shower there will be water everywhere, and no draining system. Also, the bathroom ceiling is covered in dampness.

The location was the only thing we honestly liked. You can have breakfast on the terrace while admiring the sea.
