How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Could not see any body cream/lotion in the room, that would ususally expect to have in 5star place. However, not a big deal.
Spacious, clean room with the great view on city centre. Highest floor as requested. Very impressive and absolutely delicious breakfast - loved that! Thank you.

There is a casino in the hotel. How ladies were dressed was not a family friendly esp if you have a teenager
Location and superb choices at breakfast and it was not just western breakfast but combination of Moldavian cuisines. There was a nice welcome cricova sparkling as well. Highly recommended!

Coffee was awful. Breakfast average. Spa area not really relaxing – too noisy, with kids shouting in the pool and people on phones in the sauna - "organised" completely in east way, not worth it. Missing a bathtub in the room.
Stylish and clean hotel, very smooth from check-in to check-out. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and an amazing rooftop bar with great views. Massage from Anna was professional. .

The view from our room wasn’t the best. We had 2 separate beds that were standing together, not 1 big bed.
Great location in the very centre of the city. Comfortable parking. Nice stuff. Beautiful lobby. The room was comfortable and clean. Pleasant compliment in the room (wine, sweets and cheese).

A blended breakfast comprising local foods, the warm hospitality, and comfortable room all add to this being my go-to accommodation.Most special acknowledgements go to Stefan and Anton for the attentive way in which, like the rest of the staff, they make sure that I'm part of what makes the stay homely.

Incredible location within walking distance to the main attractions of the city. Stefan, the guest relations manager, was excellent and really helped me out with a late check out due to my late flight. Made a huge difference for me!

The only things that could improve our stay would be updating the pillows and towels, and paying more attention to deep cleaning. The staff was kind and responsive, but more consistent housekeeping would elevate the overall experience.

The staff at breakfast were a bit rude. I was pushed away by a waiter while taking a cup for tea. They needed to grab some cutlery and didn't give me even a few seconds to take the cup. The pillows in the room were very tough. It would be good to have different options for pillows. A few soft ones would be good to have.
The room was nice and spacious. The ladies at the reception were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was very good. The atmosphere and decorations were very very nice. The welcome drinks and food were tasty, we enjoyed them.

Nothing- I loved how big the room and bathroom is. All the building facilities worked great!

Everything was just perfect. Wonderful service, great team.
The location, the staff , the service were extremely good: the staff was very nice , welcoming and friendly; the service in restaurants and bars is wonderful, the spa is very nice and designed nicely. The breakfast is simply amazing.

The room was a bit small in my opinion A temporary inconvenience: the entrance road was under reconstruction
The personnel was simply fantastic! Very helpful and comforting. Breakfast is very tasty and variable, moreover lots of Moldovan food was there. Pretty clean and fresh interior

The hotel price was really expensive compared with other hotels that are in the area. For the price you pay, I expected better soundproofing, other than that everything else was perfect
Bed was really comfy, shower was top notch and the room was clean and very warm! Dental & shaving kits provided
