Beautiful building, edge of the Medina, easy to find. Friendly staff who let us use the roof terrace after checking-out and kept our luggage

The room had NO WINDOW to the exterior, a bit weird and looked better on the pics

Lovely staff. Roof terrace with views all over.

Rooms are like dark cupboards. No windows. Bathrooms quite grotty. Quite cheap thank goodness. More like a hostel.

Beautiful colors mark this riad! Breakfast, served in the terrace, was delicious and ample. Oussama was an excellent host at breakfast, always cheerful, tireless, and attentive. The view of the mountains from the terrace during breakfast were breathtaking. It helped that it was April when the sun was just right. The location of this riad is unparalleled - very close to the medina and the Royal Palace. Many city facilities within walking distance. At our request, the staff recommended a restaurant that Moroccans frequented. We tried it out on the first day - and to which we returned on our third day there. Also, they quickly arranged a grand taxi with a fabulous driver for our day trip to Moulay Abdeslam and Chefchaouen and back. After checking out, we were able to leave our bags in storage for a few hours before we left the city.

The stairs were high! We had to watch our step. It was helpful to have motion sensor lighting for the stairs.

The Dar is a lovingly restored house right in the medina near the royal palace. It is beautifully and lavishly furnished. Everything is full of art and ornamentation. The roof terrace offers a wonderful view. The breakfast is varied and lovingly prepared. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. It was a wonderful stay and I can highly recommend the hotel.

I have nothing to complain about.

Great location between the medina and modern town (although we needed help from a "guide" to find it!). Welcoming and very helpful staff. Beautiful interior and good shower. Kettle in the room. Breakfast on the roof terrace with views of the city. Good value, would stay again.

    What's not to like?

Decor, location and staff all amazing.

The breakfast was 3/4 varieties of breads ( crêpes, crumpet, local bread) 1 egg, The laughing cow cheese triangles, a variety of sugar spreads(jam, marmalade, honey) and no fruit, which is grand if you want a carbs and sugar breakfast but if not I'd skip the free breakfast. Everything else was great about the place.

The location was perfect, not to into the Medina. The staff also superb! Bed was comfy as well. One things that I loved the most is the fact that they were super friendly with my son (a 2yo naughty one)

I would prefer fried eggs instead of boiled.

This riad is magnificent in its design. It’s such a precious experience to stay in such a beautiful place with such pleasant staff. At the entrance of the medina, next to the palace, it’s easyish to find but we struggled & were kindly guided by a local. The front door is recognisable by the flags hanging outside. Otherwise it would be difficult to find. The room had everything it needed and was clean. The breakfast was good, served in the lower courtyard space. There was tea, coffee, different Moroccan breads & a wonderful freshly squeezed orange juice. I also really loved the roof terrace with its views of the old quarter and the setting sun. Breakfast can be served there too.

There was a slight dampness & smell, but that’s not surprising given its age. As I have dust mite allergies that worried me a little but in the end I was fine. My only criticism is the lighting could be better. Some nice soft, warm lamps would help accentuate the decoration and bring out the charm of the rooms. There was only a cold white light from the ceiling & a small use left bedside lamp which is a shame.

The Riad was beautiful and clean. The manager and staff were very friendly and helpful. The Hamman massage was a great experience but not for the modest.

The very steep steps to the rooms, but it seemed to be the same in all buildings. Very good exercise though !

Lovely Riad in the heart of fabulous Tetuan. Easy to find, fantastic staff welcomed with mint tea, Small but beautifully decorated room, Simbad. Glorious views form the terrace and good Moroccan breakfast.

The bed was very hard and stairs narrow and steep, fine if you just have a backpack to navigate.
