Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsSpent a long weekend at Riad dar Pierre a couple of weeks ago and it was truly wonderful! Great communication beforehand for airport transfers and tours and our stay was amazing. It is a gorgeous looking riad. Mohammed helped us find our way from Rcif, gave us great tips about the area and Sekou & Amine were great hosts too. Shokran you all for making our short weekend getaway in Fez extra memorable.

Wonderful! All the staff was so helpful, nice and really friendly. We asked for a guide as the Medina is very complicated and they found us a wonderful guide named Mohammed who made our day absolutely worth it. I highly recommend him.

AustraliaNothing disliked about the Riad! For those arriving at the Riad at nightfall for the first time, we felt it was a little stressful for our family - it's a bit of a maze and dark in the evening with unsolicited offers of help from locals (who you ignore) - Google maps worked for us - this is not a reflection on the Riad, Riad was wonderful.
A quiet oasis in the middle of the old medina, rooms were very spacious. They also gave us a takeaway breakfast pack as we had to leave before 8am, that was a lovely gesture.

NetherlandsThe bed was on a platform in the room, which made it more hot. No main light in the room which made it quite dark and hard to find stuff later at night
Friendly and helpful staff, they offered to pick us up from the parking,24-7 reception. Nice patio to relax with a lot of shade. Pool is nice for cooling down after strolling in the media.

SwedenWonderful place and fantastic staff. This place is clean, positivly qurky and has a terrific location. The breakfast is tasty and rich. We recomend going put in the medina with a local guide. The staff helped us to book and the price was good. The staff met us outside the medina when we arrived by taxi and followed us again on departure day. The pool is fantastic and locatde outdoors but in the shade. We ate at the riad and the food was great. On departure day we checked out at 11 but could stay the entire day at the pool until our taxi came to take us to the airport. We got new towels even if we already had checked out.

AustraliaNothing - you will love it!
The Riad is located close to a Medina gate so it made access easy, the staff were absolutely amazing and extremely helpful and lovely. The staff collected us from the gate and helped navigate the streets for us. The room was well fitted out and the interior design of the Riad was stunning. The food was delicious, we certainly recommend having dinner there! The Riad is a paradise inside the Medina. We highly recommend a stay at Dar Pierre.

New ZealandThere was quite a strong unpleasant smell in the bathroom that seemed to be coming from outside so we couldn’t do much about it. We didn’t particularly like the area that the riad was in and it was very easy to get lost in the surrounding streets.
The staff were so helpful and welcoming, the breakfast was great and we also ate dinner at the riad and it was absolutely delicious. The pool was lovely to swim in and we enjoyed hanging out on the rooftop terrace. The room was comfortable.

IrelandThe Medina of Fes is not very well illuminated at night and it can be easy to get lost if your internet connection is not very good and you don´t use a map App. We didn´t have problems ourselves, but returning to the hotel at night after dinner felt a little bit sketchy.
Historic Riad with dreamy interior architecture and wonderful views from the rooftop. An oasis of peace inside the busy medina and very close to the main sights of Fes. Very attentive staff who helped us with any request. Its friendly manager allowed us a super early check-in, as we were coming from the Sahara, and also they allowed us to change the second breakfast to that first morning that was so needed after the long trip. Clean room and really good breakfast too. We didn´t have dinner there but the food smell seemed delicious.

CanadaA little cold this time of the year (end of February beginning of March), it's better to come once it gets warmer, around April.
The staff were really helpful with everything we needed in out first stay at Fès. They were open, patient and had great solutions every time. Food was delicious and yes you NEED a guide when you are in Fès if it is your first time. The Medina is huge and complicated to navigate compared to other places in Morocco, but it is such a great experience. Once in the hotel there is no noise, it's like a little oasis with its old architecture. Really cool.
