Must visit! A cozy hotel within the medina with a picturesque hall way with beautiful traditional decorations. Our room was a nice place to escape the heat that you sometimes experience under the Tetouan sun, all the while having a comfortable bed and curtains for privacy. The owner speaks good English, French and Dutch (came in handy for us Belgians). The other workers and her are always pleased to help you out with travel advice and tips or to greet you with a smile. The rooftop view offers a 360 view of the surrounding area which sparkles at night and astonishes at day…. A perfect place to enjoy tea! If you visit Tetouan i recommend that you sleep and rest here!

The location makes it a little bit difficult to find but this was made better by staff s help.

Location made it quite difficult to find but once we contacted the patrons they were very helpful and arranged a taxi pick up for us. Miriam and zaineb were extremely helpful and welcoming and made us feel comfortable and welcome. The breakfast the following morning was good too so overall I would recommend this as a place to stay

The bathrooms need an update, but given the price and that they are well cleaned nothing else.

The place itself is beautiful and the people working there are very welcoming. I stayed in the budget double room, no windows so it could be a little stressful for some people. Having in mind the price, the location of the hotel, the terrace and salon and the nice people working there i would say it is a fairly good choice

Excellent location in the middle of the medina. Very exotic ambience and super helpful staff. They found a place to store our bikes overnight. Rooftop terrace is a great place to hang out and watch the sun go down. Comfortable and clean bed.

My room doesnt have a fan, but you can ask for it. And also, doesnt have a window😅. So it is a little bit suffocated. So you have to open the door to let the air in.

This place is so beautiful. I like it. You can see the whole medina if you go to the rooftop.

If you are not used to narrow stairs be careful!!! Lots of narrow very steep stairs in the property...just a heads up not a dislike as part of the architecture of the city

It is literally right in the heart of the medina!! A total labrynth of narrow alleyways as a taxi cannot enter the medina The driver walked us to the accommodation, less than 10 minutes from the Palace. This is as close as vehicles can get The reception area is amazing as you enter, staff were all very friendly and welcoming Speak good english, French and moroccan The room we had was en suite and huge!! All bedrooms are on the first and second floor, all face into the courtyard. Overlooking the reception and dining area So no external windows in the bedrooms All very local architecture and the hotel is very historical in the area Bed was very comfortable, extra blankets if needed are in the room There is someone in the reception 24 hours, so if you do go out to explore the medina in the evening it's easy to get back in!! Very quiet area despite being in the medina, no noise atall in the rooms There is a roof terrace if you want to smoke or admire the view over the rooftops to the mountains

The house is neglected and in bad shape, the owner doesn't seem to care about it. The rooftop terrace is not well kept at all. The common bathrooms are inconveniently located downstairs and very ugly and neglected. Hooks and hangers are broken. Toilet paper was not replaced during the night shift. The night staff was very noisy - loud TV and phone, and he received a very noisy visitor every night. She even smoked in the common sitting area, despite the place being labelled as "non-smoking". It was impossible to get a good sleep in that place, despite of us asking for silence, because you hear every word spoken, constant doorbell ringing, noisy phone, TV etc.

Very beautiful, traditional house hidden in the medina. Day staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was basic, but OK.
