The location and the decoration

The bathroom was too small and smelly. The price of the coffee during the day.

A big thank you to Saber for his warm and attentive welcome throughout our stay. We had a wonderful time as a family at Riad Chengli. Breakfast on the beautiful terrace with a view was an absolute delight — a real moment of relaxation. The room was comfortable, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. The decor is carefully done, true to the charm of Chefchaouen, with great taste and authenticity. Congratulations to the whole team for creating this little corner of paradise — we will gladly come back!

Perfectly located and beautiful interior

I recently stayed at Riad Chengli in April and had a fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. Their helpfulness made a significant difference, providing great recommendations for local attractions and dining. The room was clean, spacious, well-appointed, equipped and offering all the comforts I needed. The bed also was lined with electric blanket to make sure my comfort during the cold night. The riad’s location was perfect, many local restaurants nearby and not far from the main road for transportations, making it easy to explore nearby sights. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast in the morning, which was a great way to start the day. The staff, alongside the owner, made sure everything was perfect. I highly recommend this riad for anyone looking for a friendly and accommodating place to stay.

EVERYTHING! The Riad has been wonderfully adapted for guests. It is beautiful and the rooms are modern. On our chilly and rainy day, they even had electric bed warmers. On of the best sleeps we had in Morocco. Oh, there is a women’s hammamm next door that they will help you make reservations for. Additionally, we came by car, so access to parking outside the Medina was close by.

Location is very good, very close to the meeting point Room is clean and beds with electric blankets You can have breakfast in Chinese style and Moroccan style if you stay more than 1 nights Staff are nice and helpful They helped us to arrange private transfer from Chefchaouen to Casablanca, solve our problem in transportation and remind up to keep our phone in safe when taking photos in Casablanca Highly recommend for this place to stay in Chefchaouen

Everyone was very helpful. The rooms are fine, clean, but very simple, no extras. The lobby area is very inviting. Breakfast was excellent!

I was so nervous about parking after reading many blogs but the manager was so helpful! He met us at the bottom of the street and someone else guided us into a parking spot outside there house, we paid 20 Dir to park overnight. All the staff especially the manager was so accommodating and kind, they helped us with our heavy bags to and from the car too! Breakfast was good too. They also have electric blankets inside the bedding which I thought was a lovely touch as it can get cold given it’s a Riad. The also had A/C so we had the heating on too. Really pretty decor too

It was perfectly suited for our needs. Clean, comfortable and very close to all the shops and restaurants An extra special acknowledgement to Saber for his exceptional service and making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He was a superb host. Breakfast was great.

The property is in a great location just inside the Medina and close to one of the gates, so easy drop off and pick up. Chefchaouen is small, so easy to walk to everywhere we wanted to go. Lovely views from the roof top. The hotel was very clean. Saber, the manager, was very kind and helpful, contacting me by WhatsApp before our arrival, and helping with our transfer to Tangier. The ladies cooking breakfast also lovely, and did a great job! But unfortunately, that’s it. We would not return.

Difficult to describe this guesthouse… it’s definitely not a Riad. It’s very new, and has few redeeming factors. The lobby area is simply awful in its decoration, and interior design throughout is weird and unwelcoming. Our room was comfortable enough, but very sparse. The bathroom was little more than a cubicle, with a shower nozzle in one corner, not enclosed at all, so the whole bathroom was saturated after a shower. Our room was on the top floor and we could hear every scraping of furniture being moved on the roof terrace. We could also hear other rooms toilets flushing and/or showers draining. A very strange place!

Too much stairs to go to your room and have breakfast. The shower was very small and no shower curtain to have privacy and every where was getting wet. Toilet bath in tiny area. Breakfast awful and they were not speaking any language except Arabic.only Mohammed was speaking English, helpful, and carrying our luggages. Very short on staffs. Do not recommend.

Pleasant manager..very kind

I loved the friendliness and kindness of the staff. Mohamed is an amazing host, always kind and nice and make you feel at home. He helped us with everything, greeted us and make us feel welcomed all the time. I definitely recommend this Riad, it's nice and well done and you can tell the owner put a lot of effort in it. Really an amazing stay ❤

Nothing, we really enjoy our staying.

Everything was perfect!!! People there are sooo nice, the stuff was just amazing, the room was perfectly clean and gorgeous! The breakfast was home made and delicious. We were so happy with our stay, we will definitely come back and we recommend you to go and have the same experience.
