Small, refreshing pool, nice terrace to sunbath and relax. Breakfast on the terrace was nice too and the staff was flexible when we needed to leave earlier in the morning. Amazing location - pickup place for activities in 3 min walk, in the heart of the medina and surrounded by markets.

The walls are very thin - you heard EVERYTHING. We had cockroaches on the second day and told the staff about it - they were helpful and the cleaning lady used some spray or something against it. When we came back to the room and asked if the cockroach was gone, they assured us that everything was fine. We entered the room and found a cockroach in the middle of the bathroom, this time dead. We double-checked the whole room since then to make sure there were no cockroaches before we went to sleep. In the last night, we heard something falling done and turned on the lights again - it was another cockroach. We immediately told the staff, but nothing happened. Later we heard a crawling noise and found another cockroach - we insisted on getting another room. At first, this was not possible because the staff didn‘t know which rooms were free the next day but as we were about to leave to go to another riad, they gave us another room. We did not sleep a minute that night..

The Maison Chadia Boutique Hotel & Spa is the perfect destination to immerse yourself into the local culture. A very ideal location to explore the local souks, which are right on your doorstep. As a female I felt very safe and was comfortable at this hotel. They also supported me with taxi booking and recommendations for food and activities. The staff were extremely hospitable. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a beautiful authentic destination in the heart of the Medina of Marrakech.

I did not experience anything negative during my stay.

Really convenient location for first-time visitors — you're in the northern part of the medina where there are lots of artisans around, but it's not as hectic as the souks further down towards Jemaa el-Fnaa. Le Jardin Secret, Medersa Ben Youssef, Maison de la Photographie, and Musée du Parfum are all less than 10 minutes away by foot, which is great. Our main point of contact during the stay was Marwan, who was knowledgeable, friendly, and always on hand to share helpful tips about things to see and do. We also appreciated that he's incredibly attentive and would keep an eye out for us, especially in the first day or two when we were still finding our way around. Every staff member we interacted with was lovely and kind, especially Rashid, who may actually be a ray of sunshine in human form. In terms of amenities/facilities, the complimentary breakfast was a perfect way to start a full day of exploring Marrakech, and sunset on the roof was just perfect, although we sadly didn't make use of the plunge pool due to how busy we were. We both slept extremely well during the trip due to the great soundproofing and comfortable beds. Also as two self-confessed cat people, we loved trying to spot where Caesar the riad cat would be napping every day.

Heat control in the shower was a little temperamental but we got used to it in the end.

It was a lovely calm escape from the souks, the staff were lovely in the main. The place was clean and tidy, and the bed was comfy 😊

The apartment was a bit shabby and in need of refurbishment, the shower was hand-held as the fixing was broken and the floor was jagged and missing tiles. We had to wait quite a while at times for the door to be answered as there was no other way of getting in and out. The area is a bit rough compared with our previous apartment on the jemaa el fnaa square. Some of the staff could be a bit indifferent, breakfast serving guy was very surly at times, maybe he was not a morning person but he made asking for anything a bit awkward. Not the best value for money to be had in marrakech...

It was not only so beautiful and clean, the aesthetics and the design of this riad was so modern and I believe it was the best riad we had gone to in Marrakech. The décor and the ambience was a 10/10, and coming from the world of London to Marrakech, this riad showed all the beautiful parts that make up Morocco while showing elements of elegance.

    Everything was perfect!

The riad was fantastic. The place is a beautiful oasis in the medina with a lovely roof terrace for sunset, the rooms are comfortable (including with aircon and wifi that works well), and the staff were extremely helpful throughout our stay - Marwan on the front desk was a star!

The Riad itself was beautiful and so peaceful, we spent much of the time in the courtyard outside our room reading by the pool. Marouane was very friendly and helpful from the get go in providing recommendations, directions and advice. The room was lovely and comfortable with a large bathroom. The breakfast was also excellent with a variety of breads. They were kind enough to pack our breakfast on the last day as we had to leave before breakfast opened...much appreciated!

The bathroom had a drainage smell which we were told apparently affects most of the riads in the north part of the Medina. They did provide drain covers that helped a bit. I would recommend to the owners to find a permanent solution to this, as we did stay in two other riads in the north of the Medina which didn't have this problem. However, Maison chafia was the most idyllic of the three riads we stayed in.
