Cozy room with a view of the marketplace and the beautiful display of lights and change of scenery with the morning markets opening to the busy noon and waking nightlife of tanger in the evening. The owner treats you like a friend and is most generous, feel free to ask him for information or help as he will be pleased to assist you! The other employees always close or ready to help you! Beautiful rooftop to watch sunrises! Definitely recommend this place if you visit Tanger.

Hard to find something to complain about for the price point. I enjoyed the stay and the staff was very friendly.

Super friendly brothers that run the place, smooth check-in and easy to find. The room was bigger than I was thinking it would be. had a queen bed and a single bed. Was quite warm but we got by with the fan as it doesn't have AC. Overall a pleasant stay and no complaints on the price. Would recommend for a couple nights in the heart of the Tangier Medina.

The room could be cleaned more during our stay, we had to take our own garbage out.

The location is great, in the heart of Medina and central to everything. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating even when there was a slight misunderstanding with our booking. The location and the view are worth a lot more than what you pay for it, trust me it is a good bargain.

The bathroom's commode wasn't very clean which could be improved. Please add a table fan into the room as it gets quite stuffy in the night.

The location of the property is perfect right in the medina. It's a very good property with spacious rooms. The receptionists were very welcoming, helpful and kind. The view from the right side of the building is amazing. The view from the terrace is lovely too!

Room very warm and noisy due to the traffic outside. Thin curtains let too much light in. Ok for 1 night, so no complaints.

A traditional Moroccan hotel, comfy beds OK for one or two days. Good value for money but no breakfast.

Good location and view from the terrace of the sea and the medina. Very close to all things you want to be close to. If you have issues with stairs, ask for a room downstairs. My room was on the top floor, which is great for the view, but not good for my mom. We planned our walks to the room. The room had a water kettle, cutlery and hot water in the shower. Value for money.

The brothers who work here are so friendly and helpful! The hotel had great facilities including a beautiful terrace and was very well located in the old medina.

Small hotel with great staff in the middle of the old Tangier (Medina). Abdul and his sister Samira are very nice and helpful people. Tangier is a nice city that deserves 2 nights. Hotel is close to all the shops and restaurants.

The bathroom! Every time we showered the whole room flooded with water. There is a mop provided to deal with this small problem.

The communication with the hotel was first class from the outset. Any questions were answered promptly and fully. The hotel is in a great location, just inside the medina. It is easy to find despite the maze of streets. Abdue and his two brothers are brilliant - incredibly helpful and kind. We were given a better room than we booked, which was much appreciated. Abdue explained where everything was and sent us a list of what to see in Tanger. The hotel dates back to 1821 so it is an old building, and this should be taken into consideration when booking a room here. Our room was spacious and comfortable enough with a double bed and a single bed plus table and chairs.. The decor was definitely one of the most colourful we have experienced in Morocco so far! Each room was decorated with a different theme - very artistic. If we were to visit Tanger again I would definitely book one of the 2 rooms on the roof terrace. The bathroom isn't the best but there was always hot water. Great views from the roof terrace and a nice space to sit and chill out. All in all we loved our stay here. The people were exceptionally kind and looked after us well. The hotel has a definite old world charm! It also offered great value for money. Thank you for everything!

Our bathroom wasn't the cleanest and when we showered, the entire bathroom floor was flooded because the shower head sprayed everywhere and the shower curtain couldn't hold the water back. There was a large squeegee in the bathroom so it was obvious after showering what that was for

The hotel was built in 1881 so although the ambience was eye-catching, there were a few window rattles and banging doors. A piece of folded paper fixed the latter. The cups in the minimalist kitchen were not perfectly clean so we used our own.

The host was kind enough to put us in a room on the top floor which meant was had views over the sea on one side and a view over the old town square on the other. The artwork on the ceiling was amazing, although there were several patches of black mould. There was a plentiful supply of very hot water.

Sound proofing of windows are not great, so you could hear the people from street but for the price you, we can’t expect everything perfect. Also curtains aren’t really covering complete windows. It can be improved to sun-blocking curtains for longer sleep in the mornings

Location is really great! Really in the center of old-madina and close to all touristic places, restaurants,shopping places. Authentic Moroccan style hotel. The view from the top floor is amazing and good place to chill. Really helpful and friendly staff

Whomever owns this hotel needs to invest in it. Our shower flooded our bedroom and clearly there are not enough sheets as we had no top sheet. It is not fair to the lovely staff on site not to invest more on behalf of the guests.

The staff are the best thing about this hotel. They are all so helpful and kind- giving restaurant tips and holding luggage. The roof terrace is exceptional and the location is perfect.

Noise came in from the medina, but it is hard to avoid anywhere. Bathrooms were fine but expect simpler shower without a step down to keep the water from spreading across the floor. (A helpful squeegee was included!)

Fantastic hotel with beautiful rooms in a convenient location in the heart of the medina. Abdou was so friendly and went above and beyond, upgrading us to another room when it became available!
