Useless hotel ,

-some of the room renovations are poorly done (unfinished edges, curtains falling off tracks, weird & dusty carpet baseboards..) -there’s a terrible smell coming from the bathtub and the hot water is hit & miss (mostly miss!) -most of the hotels surrounding this one are closed

-Tangier is a great city! -some of the hotel has been renovated -staff are lovely -location is quiet and close to some nice restaurants/cafés -it’s a nice walk into town or a quick taxi ride

Not set up very well. Looks like the architect had never designed a hotel. Have to lug your bags down stairs to get to the lobby. Only one small elevator to get to the floors. Had to walk outside thru parking lot to get to the pool. Pool tiles coming off. Hall lighting outside room on motion switch did not activate till we were 4 to 5 steps from our room. Shower enclosure had no door and splashed water everywhere. Bathroom tiles were black and not smooth( like acid etching) and dark color scheme was depressing. Room door was hard to close and could easily lead to room being left open if not extremely careful. Also the 4th floor elevator was on step shot of the floor. A tripping hazard that got my 77 year old wife.

Every morning they didn’t had the orange juice or olive oil for the breakfast for example.

Everything was really nice, but they have to re adjust the things that are broken on the rooms, like there is no place where to leave the shampoo while you’re showering, also the towels and many things like this.

Location is considered far from the hob of malabata Noisiness of the club is unbelievable The hotel seem just had a renovation which was horrible and miserable Even the price doesn’t worth.

There is look like 3* hotel, not 5 star hotel, the room even does not have a drinking water! When i asked the water they charged so high price just for water, another room where my friend stayed there was water in drinking bottles, but my room not! The hot water is not warm enough, the soundproofing is poor, you can hear passing cars, the bath seems not fully equipped. The hotel smells of smoke. The only thing that was good was that the staff working at the reception desk were helpful and nice

The TV was awful, the situation of the hotel on the top of a hill with no possibility to order for transportation was very annoying, imagine the casino of the Movinpick was at 650 metres but we could never reach it as catching a cab at night under the wind was not possible for aged people, I also disliked how the bill was handled . I have booked through Booking.com in euro as a definite price ( I am Genius 2 ) and what was my surprise to see the hotel has converted my price in, Morrocco Dirham and then of course my bank charged me more than 50 euros commission ( 5% more that what I was expected to pay ).......I was very upset but I didn't get anything back ! I also disliked that somewhere in the description of the hotel they talk about a shuttle.........

The very delicious breakfast, and special regards to Elyes the very dynamic waiter, the room with balcony ( very nice size the room ), the confortable bed and coussins, the hotel arranged for free our transportation the first day from the train station to the hotel and the last day from the hotel to the train station

Location quite far from the centre compounded with the staffs difficulty helping us getting a 5 person taxi. Had room with view of back wall 224 and that was a disapointment.

Staff was friendly, especially the manager of the hotel. Very helpful. Breakfast was quite nice and specially young gentleman who was our waiter was fantastic.

The rating is higher than many other hotels in the area but it seems it is not correct. The rooms are basic, breakfast is good but it’s not worth the amount you pay. It’s not clean reception are not as helpful as they should be for a 5 star hotel. No drinks or food in the fridge. I even had to ask for water. It’s not a 5 star and certainly not worth the per night rate.

This shower was very small between the glass screen and washbasin. We couldn't move almost.

In the breakfast there's a big range of specialities maroccans, comfortable bed , the personal very near.
