Ahmed and Simo were the most hospitable hotel staff I’ve ever experienced and I’ve visited a lot of places. Both men had huge genuine smiles at the desk and would do anything to ensure you have an excellent stay. Ahmed & Simu uploaded all of the attractions, natural besuty sights and recommended restaurant on whatsapp and snswered any questions quickly. Rven did my laundry at no extra charge. Gave free bottles of water and made tea outside of breakfast.

Beautiful cozy Riad. Comfortable rooms. Very friendly service. Ahmed and Nihad were amazing hosts. They took care of anything and everything we needed. Provided a list of restaurants and local attractions to visit. Very helpful and always available and willing to help to make sure our stay is comfortable. Onsite (nearby) parking is a plus. Excellent breakfast. Healthy and delicious. Overall, wonderful stay. Highly recommend it.

Honestly, I can't think of anything that I didn't like. Everything was just perfect. I give them 10/10 rating. Keep up the good work.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had the pleasure of staying at Maison d'hôtes Afssi in Chefchaouen. Originally, we had booked a double room with a balcony (15 sqm), but were generously upgraded free of charge to a spacious standard double room (32 sqm). The accommodation was consistently very clean, tastefully decorated, and offered a peaceful retreat after a day exploring the Blue City. Our hosts, Ahmed and Nihad, deserve special mention – incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful. You can immediately tell that they genuinely care about the well-being of their guests. Upon request, Ahmed arranged a traditional Moroccan dinner for us, which we enjoyed comfortably on the rooftop terrace or in our room – including delicious Harira and Tajine, freshly prepared and full of flavor. The breakfast on the rooftop terrace was another highlight: traditional, lovingly presented, and accompanied by a wonderful view over the city. If you’re looking for more than just a place to stay in Chefchaouen and want to experience an authentic, warm, and well-maintained home away from home, this is the place. We will definitely be back!

The Maison d’Hôtes is located close to the bus station, which was perfect for us. The room was very comfortable. Breakfast is served on a beautiful terrace. The staff has been extremely kind and helpful, including with planning our transportation. They also share recommendations on the sites to visit and restaurants to go in Chafchaouen, which we appreciated a lot. Recommended!

The staff is amazing and the hotel is so comfortable. Ahmed and Simo answer all questions and will give you perfect directions to see all the best parts of Chefchaouen. They helped me with baggage that was lost by the airline in Casablanca and I am so grateful!! It feels like home, you are made to feel so welcome. Breakfast was amazing (so many choices and a lot of tasty food) and I especially enjoyed the roof terrace.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating, sent us recommendations in Chefchaouen and answered our questions. We had to leave before the set breakfast time, but they packed us something for takeout which was much appreciated. Our room was spacious and clean, had a fridge and kettle, AC, and wifi. It came with complimentary water. The hotel is close to CTM bus station, and walkable to the Medina but taxi is cheap too (~20dh).

Ahmed was extraordinary: we were super late due to a 3h delay of the ferry from Italy and, despite being beyond the check-in time, he waited us till 2am. He also provided all touristic information to visit the city. We recommend this place!

This small hotel was away from the old town but the walk was fine and not too long The town is safe and very welcoming The rooms were spacious ( ask for room 6 and 12!) clean and comfortable The reception area was homely and all the staff were friendly and very helpful indeed

Not a problem for me personally but if you don't like noise then this might want to consider that there is lots of activity around . There is building right next door and a karate club opposite where children are going in and out to classes up until about 10pm. I liked hearing the children - authentic non touristy life in the mountain village .

The hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the CTM bus station and about a 25-minute walk from the main attractions of the city. I was genuinely pleased with my stay and would love to share my experience. Before my arrival, I messaged the hotel to inform them I would be arriving around 7 PM. Ahmed promptly replied, kindly offering to meet me at the bus station to help with my luggage in case I had many bags — a gesture I truly appreciated. Upon check-in, my wife was warmly welcomed with a rose and we were offered two bottles of water. They also sent us a helpful itinerary via WhatsApp with recommendations for places to visit during our stay. Breakfast was homemade and delicious, and the kitchen staff were not only friendly but also brought a great sense of fun and joy to the mornings. On the day of our checkout, the hotel kindly stored our luggage while we explored the city a bit more. When we returned to wait for our bus, we were invited to relax near reception. Nihad generously offered us tea and even invited us to join the hotel staff for a traditional Moroccan lunch. Before we left, they once again gifted us a rose and bottles of water for our journey, which was such a thoughtful touch. A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful team at the reception — Ahmed, Simo, and Nihad — for their professionalism, warmth, and genuine dedication to guest satisfaction. Your hospitality made our stay truly memorable. Fernando Lobato

Everyone at this Maison D'Hotes is extremely kind, I have never been to a place where they treat you and care for you like you would a close family that you love. Really, Chefchaouen wouldn't have been the same without them and their warm and kind welcome. The place is also very beautiful, clean and well placed, not too close to the medina, not too far. It is a 11min walk to the entrance of the medina, which means you are not flooded with tourists. I have enjoyed my short stay and would have liked to stay longer.

    Nothing, everything was great!

The location was the best. We got around very well. This is a family owned business and they take really good care of you.

There were a lot of stairs to climb which could be deterrent after a full day of walking

Sweet little place 3 minute walk from the bus station. Another 7 minute walk up hill yo the wonderful blue city Medina. The online tour map they provided was extremely useful and made for a very good introduction to this beautiful town. Breakfast of tea on the rooftop was great.
