My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay because of the very kind team of the Dar Rhela. The Dar is very beautiful, with a spectacular terrace looking at the mountains and to the old town. It's in the Medina, in a strategic position: close to the exit of the Medina and close to the main attractions and parking places.

The room was super clean, but because of the fact the building is old maybe it would be better to place some perfumes in the bathroom.

This riad is a wonderful place to stay in Tetouan. It’s in a great location, close to everything – Feddane Park, Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Victoria, and the Royal Palace. Breakfast is included, and we really enjoyed our stay. The rooftop is very beautiful, and the view from there is amazing. The staff, Rachida and Soumia, were very kind and welcoming. The owner, Ibrahim, was also very friendly. If we come back to Tetouan, we will definitely stay here again!

The roof top terrace is lovely. The ladies serving breakfast were sweet but no English is spoken. Breakfast was basic but tasty. The room is big but really basic. No water in the room and no glasses. Very few power points.

Bathroom really needs updating. The location is in the medina, this medina is crowded with everything from fresh fish to household goods and we found it really hard to find as the only sign is outside the front door which is up a little alleyway. When we finally arrived there was no adult around and the 2 small children ignored us totally. About 20 minutes later a lady appeared and showed us to our room. The hardest part was how noisy the children were. On our 2nd day when we were trying to nap the boys were making so much noise by playing on a keyboard that we decided to rather just go out again. The noise continued until after 11pm. The noise really was a problem for us. Overall we were really disappointed, still don't know who the owner was and no information provided on anything, not even breakfast times.

This traditional Riad is highly recommended if you want to dive into the very heart of the UNESCO world heritage centre. The perfectly refurbished building gives an original feeling of living in and above the tiny alleys of the souk - be aware that you have to transport your luggage for 200...300 meters by hand. It is amazingly calm in the house, and plenty of traditional breakfast in a variety is served on the rooftop with an astounting view above the inclined town towards the sea and mountains. Tétouan is small enough to walk on foot to all sights.

Location was super. Rooftop terrace has a super view of the Rif mountains. Breakfast is simple but good (included). Diner tasted very good (not included). The first night we booked one of the bigger rooms on the first floor. Very nice, good value for money. Beautiful decoration. The serving staff is super friendly!!

We asked if there was a second night available and were thankful there was. We knew it would be a smaller room but it first it looked like some kind of forgotten room ‘in the back’, it was very dark and rather moist (which we know is a regular problem around). Luckily we met the nice Belgian owner the next morning by coincidence who told us the story behind the room and it explained a lot but we still think the price the caretaker asked was too high in comparison with the other rooms but most of all it wasn’t pleasant to hear him say we could still leave and try to find something else, after all you want to feel welcome…

Friendly staff. OK breakfast. Clean. Good value. Nice terrace with good views.

A little challenging to find (not uncommon when staying in a Medina but signage could be better). Most of the staff only speaks Arabic which can make for challenging communication.

The Riad was perfectly located, charming, and very clean. The owners and staff were exceptional, making sure to go out of their way with insider recommendations, allowing us to experience Tétouan and nearby sites like locals.

Difficult to find even though it is off a main medina artery which seemed to specialize in used goods and had a flea market type atmosphere. The sign is up a dead end alley and small. We needed help from the local street vendors. Staff was friendly. We were early for check-in and they invited us to the rooftop terrace, with a view across the town to the Rif mountains, for tea while we waited. Breakfast was fresh and generous and I can't think of a more beautiful place to sit and enjoy the early morning. Rooms are simple, a good size and comfortable.

Needs better signage outside. Located in a part of the medina which is used by locals, not many tourists, this is both a pro and a con. You get to experience how a medina functions as part of a bigger city, not as a tourist destination. We found this to be a good antidote to Marrakech.

Great view, beautiful riad, helpful and friendly staff. Excellent location in the medina. Be sure to buy a 'forfaite' for the parking or it will work out expensive.

    Nothing. It was great.

Comfortable double room with en-suite bathroom. Bathroom a little tired with annoying shower curtain but perfectly ok. The hosts were excellent looking after us and cannot be faulted. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, served on the roof which was lovely in the warm weather, less so in the rain! Location in the heart of the medina is perfect but not the easiest to find when you arrive. Note that it’s central location means the call to prayer at 5 ish in the morning is very loud and likely to wake you up - all adds to the authenticity however!

I lost this hotel due to nobody opened the door and nobody answer my telephone. I booked another hotel and I lost lots of money because I paid 2 times in tetoun for hotel. Infact this place is in the middle of dirtiest place in medina and booking.com should remove this place from its website.
