However, one downside of the stay was the noise level inside the riad. The structure allows sound to travel easily between floors, and people often spoke loudly from the ground floor to the upper levels. I was hoping to take a short rest during the afternoon, but the noise made it difficult to relax or sleep.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Riad Bargach. The location is excellent—very central and convenient for exploring the medina and nearby attractions. The riad itself is charming and clean, with good amenities and a relaxing atmosphere. The host was very kind, helpful, and welcoming, always ready to assist with anything we needed, which we truly appreciated.

The host was very friendly and professional and paid close attention to detail. He made the effort to get special gluten free bread for me for breakfast which I really appreciated. Beautiful little place. Highly recommend it!

The room was slightly narrow, though perfectly functional.

Good location and very good breakfast. Staff was quite effective and helpful: they even helped us finding a parking place prior to the arrival.

If you want a traditional riad, then this is perfect.

Younie, the Manager was amazing. The Riad was not accessible by taxi which left us concerned about how we would find the riad and how we were going to get our bags up the hill. The Cab driver rang the hotel and Younie came down to assist us. The riad is very traditional and is located in a lovely part of the Medina. The room is basic and small but all I needed. Breakfast is served from 8.30am but we had an early start so Younie organised it earlier for us. Breakfast was included and excellent.

Yunis is a great host and speaks English fluently. I was a bit sick and he offered me medicine and checked on me, which I’m very thankful for. The bed was comfortable and the location was very good to find and to walk around the medina. The downsides are that I could hear everyone talking on the other floors, bring earplugs!!! The bathroom’s accessories are also old and rusty, and I spotted a few cockroaches both in my room and the dining area. Not so shocked since I’m coming from a tropical country, but I didn’t expect it since I had traveled to other places in Morocco without seeing them…

Breakfast good, very hospitable owner. It is a small old building, very basic accomodations but in the middle of a great area. Sleep, have breakfast, go out and explore the area. If you expect more find a 5 star all inclusive resorts.

Just 1 night, upon arriving in Tangiers. The host was marvelous and incredibly helpful, also in arranging transportation to our next destination. The room was small yet very nicely decorated , comfortable bed, nice linens. Only the bathroom needs some improvement.

Small .Bathroom floor was wet , shower was difficult to control and very weak flow , toilet seat was loose , nowhere to store or hang clothes .

Rooms were a bit small, but that's to be expected in a Dar

This is a traditional Moroccan Dar, so don't expect it to be anything else. It was quite ok for our short stay. The rooms were clean, it wasn't cold (we went at the end of January), very good breakfast (porridge, omelette, coffee, pastries) and it also has a very nice rooftop overlooking Tangier. The location is wonderful, right in the Medina.

A really gorgeous house perfectly located down a quiet alley near the edge of the medina. Just a two minute walk from the medina gate closest to the port. The room was lovely and really clean. The hosts were really nice and accommodating, when I had to check out early to catch a ferry in the morning they prepared an early breakfast for me to have before I left.

Not that it should push you away, but taxis will only take you to a certain point and from there you will need to walk up slopes in the old city to find the accommodation, however it is well worth the walk!

The beds were incredibly comfortable. Younes, the host was absolutely stellar, and able to help with any request for advice on his brilliant city. The breakfast was insanely delicious. The location was also fantastic, walking distance to the sea and situated within the old city. I couldn’t recommend Dar Bargach more!

Not super convenient bathroom, could be cleaner. Too much noise when trying to sleep during the night from other guests.

Really kind staff, lovely rooftop terrace where you can enjoy a truly delicious and generous breakfast. Convinent for a couple nights or so. Comfy bed, great location in the medina.

Leaving the room key for the cleaning of the room daily. It was on the table ready for collection upon return at the end of the day, along with everybody else’s key. You are therefore relying on all guests to be trustworthy. The cleaner should have an extra set of keys to avoid this situation.

Beautiful old building inside the medina. Great views from the roof terrace. Polite and friendly staff. Breakfast was very filling and the coffee was good.
