Wish the pool was heated as it was very cold. My kids went into but far too cold for me.

This property can only be described as a magical, romantic and beautiful Riad nestled in the mountain of Chefchaouen. From the moment you step through the gorgeous door you become mesmerized by the stunning settings. The welcome was warm and the accommodations were perfect for our family of 8. The breakfast, lunch and dinner were all delicious. I cannot recommend this property enough. It will always have a piece of my heart.

Not much, we loved it and would go back again in a heartbeat and have already recommended it to others. Most staff was really good and welcoming with a small exception regarding the female employee at the front desk who seemed a bit distracted as she was on her phone while I was trying to get her attention to help with something

I know we're in Morocco and rules.are different but having people fully dressed swimming in the pool didn't look very hygienic. The rugs in the rooms were filthy looking and should definitely be replaced. Food was not at the level of the hotel. Better go out and have good, tasty local food.

The hotel style and landscaping is wonderful.. super clean and warm hospitality. The breakfast was delicious too. Super clean . We enjoyed the terrace and the view of the room.

This Riad makes you feel special and important when you get there and check in. But when you leave the hotel, you don't feel so special and important anymore. This is the conclusion we made from our situation, which left a not very pleasant impression. Before leaving the hotel we asked for Morrocan tea, we had to wait and remind the reception that the tea had not been brought yet. Next to us in the reception area sat other guests who had just arrived. All guests were welcomed with Morrocan tea and Morrocan delights. These guests sitting next to us were brought tea. And we were still waiting ... Soon our tea was brought. And a check was presented for payment. ( 20 dirhams) My husband gave 100 dirhams to that guy, and said to keep the change. After we finished the tea, We thanked the receptionist girl for loveley accommodation. To which she said that we needed to pay for the tea. We said that we had paid. She ran to ask her colleagues until that guy confirmed that we had paid and everything was fine. We left this beautiful hotel with such an unpleasant aftertaste.. But in overall Everything was Perfect ! Amazing place to stay! Like a beautiful Oasis !

Our stay at this riad was truly something special. The room was beautifully appointed and felt authentically Moroccan, just like the incredible menu that gave us a true taste of local cuisine. We especially loved the generous breakfast spread, filled with lots of classic Moroccan varieties to try. The staff were all very friendly and incredibly accommodating. The serene pool was the perfect escape from the summer heat, made even better by the poolside service—a lovely bonus to our stay!

As there isn’t a car park, when we arrived there were lots of people approaching us about parking which felt a bit intimidating. It would have been great if the hotel could have communicated in advance about this because once we went into the hotel they sent a lovely chap down to help with our bags and help us find the best place to park. Only a minor thing to improve experience for future guests.

This is a beautiful hotel with gorgeous views of Chefchaouen. Lovely relaxed pool, great breakfast and wonderful food in the restaurant.

Only downside is that WiFi wasn’t great but it was a positive for us as it meant more time together as a family

It’s such a beautiful hotel. So calm and relaxing. The breakfasts are amazing and the staff are so helpful. Our hire car had a mechanical problem and Kareem spoke to the company and arranged for it to be sorted out.

Difficult parking situation. Must park in unaffiliated parking lots and one of the attendants assaulted my husband over fares. On a smaller note, the pillows are too big and hard to sleep on.

The views from the property were amazing. Our room was a little bungalow with a rooftop sitting area. The pool was huge and well used by our family. Breakfast buffet was delicious. Mini fridge in the room. Short walk down to the Blue City.

We had a wonderful stay at Dar Echchaouen! The location is perfect peaceful and close to the medina, with beautiful views of the mountains and the blue city. The traditional Moroccan decor gave the place a very warm and authentic charm. We especially appreciated the cleanliness of the room, the comfortable bed, and the delicious breakfast served on the terrace. A special mention for the peaceful garden and the lovely pool area perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Chefchaouen. A special thanks to the two girls at the reception, they were incredibly kind, helpful, and always smiling. It was also great to see young people working with such professionalism and positivity, it really added to the experience.

Firstly, they didnt clean one room , we had 2 rooms . there was a fishy smell at the entrance. But what put us off was they charged us 100 usd as exchange rate in conversion from Euro to MAD. (that is 7 percent commision) They would not accept credit card payment in Euro it has to be only in MAD either by cash or Credit card. So if you are choosing to pay at property you can except this .

Walk up several stairs to riad. Staff not so friendly or informative Good location but maybe a 10 minute walk to where all restaurants are & main square. Not easy to GPS as lots of stairways & small turns. Dinner at riad fills up quickly. We had to wait about an hour.
