The atmosphere at the Dar was very calm and peaceful. Ahmed and Rio were very friendly and helpful. Me and my partner really loved our stay.

It’s super basic, which is expected at that price. But it’s gorgeous little place and has an incredible solemn and calming atmosphere. And Ahmed is a wonderful man, calm, helpful and very polite. I would go back to Chefchaoune just to stay there…

We booked two nights for a couple in this house, the guesthouse was in a good location, clean, comfortable and a piece of art in the heart of Chefchaouen, the family who owns the guesthouse is very kind, they took care of our clients as part of their family, and the manager arranged dinner outside as they don't serve dinner there.

The hostel has a beautiful decoration that reflects the soul of the city. The staff, Ahmed and Abdelilah, were very kind and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay there and will definitely be back soon

Dar Dadicilef is a peaceful, romantic haven tucked away in the heart of Chefchaouen. The moment you step inside, a gentle, zen-like flow surrounds you, creating an instant sense of calm. Abdu and his father are exceptional hosts—kind, thoughtful, and always available to help, making the whole experience feel warm and personal. The rooms are full of charm, and the lovely patio garden is the perfect spot to enjoy the generous and delicious breakfast each morning. During our stay, we experienced an unusual heatwave (temperatures reached 35°C), and while the thick walls helped a bit, a fan in the room would have made things even more comfortable. Perhaps something for the owners to consider for the future.

Only downside rooms were very hot. We need to keep everything open to manage to sleep.

Very nice Dar in Chefchaouen. The space is very nice with great location near one of the gates. Owners friendly with nice garden and nice rooms. Brekfast also very good.

The room was extremely hot. We couldn't sleep with the window open as mosquitoes were coming in, sometimes in the afternoon, we slept with the door open because it was hot. Also, there is no blind for the window, so in the morning all the light comes in. There is only one bathroom with a shower and an additional toilet on the ground floor, so if you have to go during the night, it can be a bit tricky as the rooms are on the first floor. (Dorms are on the ground floor)

The owners are extremely nice and friendly, and every morning we had the most delicious breakfast in the garden. The location is great as is very close to several restaurants, bars and cute photo spots. There is a terrace too.

The bed was hard and If you were on a bunk bed (up), it might be a little inconvenient because the electrical outlets are only on the bottom.

It is located in the center of Chefchaouen, making it very convenient to any of the landmarks. If you take the CTM bus from Tetouan, the accommodation is a bit far, about a 20-minute walk uphill, or you can take a taxi. The hosts, Abdul and Ahmad, are super nice and welcoming! I was surprised that Abdul is fluent in English, Spanish, and Arabic. (I'm not sure about French...?) Even though I arrived early, they let me leave my luggage and choose a bed in the shared room. The price is definitely worth it, as the rate includes breakfast, which was nice. I personally loved the architecture and the garden!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful place. We stayed in the 4 bed dorm, which was comfortable and spacious, with lockers. We loved the garden area and two roof terraces, and particularly enjoyed the huge delicious breakfast in the garden. The building was extremely clean, with hot water and cool inside. Yousef and his dad were very welcoming, helpful and kind. We had a lovely time in Chefchaouan!

We loved everything. Maybe the only challenge was parking as we had to do it outside of the medina (nothing related to the hostel). We found one public parking (Day & night) 6 minutes walking from Dar Dadicilef (up hill) in which we paid 60DHM per 24 hours. We had to leave the car with the handbrake off so it could be moved if necessary but everything went smoothly.

We appreciated the staff’s warmth, attentiveness and kindness. The place is BEAUTIFUL, a bit of a hidden gem at the heart of the medina. And the atmosphere is really welcoming and relaxing. Breakfast is nice!

The rooms are amazing!! I took so much pictures of just my room including the bathroom! The hotel is so visually pleasing. The hosts are so kind, helpful, and friendly. AbdulEllah was so amazing and helpful, I consider him a brother. Even after checkout, they let me leave my stuff with them while I took care of some things, which made my trip so smooth as I didn't have to carry a big bagpack around the city. The location and layout of this hostel is too good to not stay in! Highly recommend for an authentic Chefchaouen experience!
