We were on the top floor, so the two windows in our room were both skylights and too high up to reach. In order for us to get it dark inside the room when we wanted to sleep, we had to use some sort of pole for grabbing the blinds and pulling them down. That turned out to be an almost impossible task, the device did not hold on very well to the slim handle on the blinds, it kept slipping off and hitting the window with a loud clunk. We tried multiple times but didn’t wanna break anything so in the end we had to sleep with the blinds up, which was very light and did not make for a good night’s sleep.

We were just traveling through coming from Cape Kolka going to Riga. There is really not that much on the way so Roja seemed a good choice. The hotel provides for everything, good accommodation for a night. There is also a small supermarket right across the street. And the owner was very friendly.

There is nothing extra to dislike, we had a good overnight stay. If you are staying longer, a mini fridge would be convenient - as other travellers have also pointed out.

Comfortable, good sized room, excellent bed, clean and warm. As for the village itself - small and pristine, nice beach. It is a good location if you want to explore Livonian coast.

Very modern, quiet and clean room with nice balcony and beautuful spacious bathroom. Perfect for a couple day stay. While checking out the guests get nice handmade souvenir that symbolizes Roja. Location is very comfortable, close to local small shops (just opposite the hotel), relatively close to the beach and local restaurants. Free parking.

Nothing much to say! There was roofing work done when we stayed, but after 10 pm all was quiet, so nothing bad to say about the place!

The room we stayed was exceptional, the location is perfect, but the best of all was the staff! Not to often we are hosted so welcoming as in this place. After checkout the host give us nice local souvenir, a lovely fridge magnet from Roja! We loved it!

From the moment we stepped foot into the hotel, we were greeted with warm smiles and an impeccable level of hospitality. The first thing that caught our attention was the TV in our room, which seemed like a treasure. Not only did it offer every channel, but it also had access to various streaming services, including a free-to-use Netflix account. Speaking of the room, it was nothing short of pristine. Even after rearranging the beds to suit our preferences, not a speck of dust or a missed spot could be found. The housekeeping staff deserves immense praise for their attention to detail. But what truly made our experience at the Hotel unforgettable was the owner himself. Even after we were an hour late for our check-in, he went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable trip. From offering insightful recommendations on must-visit sights and local eateries to sharing stories about the city's history, he made us feel like cherished guests, not just customers. To top it all off, the owner gave us his personal phone number for if we had any questions, we could contact him any hour of the day. It was an unexpected gesture of generosity. If you're looking for a place that combines comfort, warmth, and top-notch service, then It's a gem waiting to be discovered. Everything was perfect, I couldn’t ask more for this price. 👌🏻 Starting with such a reasonable price for night. Great location :) Short walk till sea side 💙 Room has all facilities, even more I was expecting 👍🏻 We asked for baby bed and we got it, with all accessories, even baby changing table 👌🏻 Also hotel owner was really friendly, heartwarming welcoming 🫶🏻 He even told little bit about city Roja and options for entertainment. :)

I would appreciate a cotton duvets instead of polyester mix since i had a skin break out next day. Also the community kitchen or a small fridge in the room would be necessary since i came to midsummer celebration and everything in the area was closed for the day. I assume most likely it’s not the first time it’s closed early or due to the season so i would appreciate to be able to store some light food somewhere for my dinner and breakfast.

Location was really good and easy to access everything. The cleanliness of the place was also a spot on. Provided tea was lovely too.
