Beautiful hotel with lovely comfortable bed .We had a breakfast in one of the mornings and there was plenty to choose from Location is great as it’s only few mins walk from the bus station,and tram line is outside the hotel .Old town in few hundreds meters walk,and there is a plenty of choices for lunch ,dinner etc as hotel only offers dinner menu Staff at the hotel were lovely and helpful too .Can highly recommend this place

Nothing to dislike.

Eurostars Metropole is located in a walking distance from almost everything - bus station, train station, old town and public transportation stations are nearby too. Booking processs went smoothly. Staff was kind and helpfull. Hotel itself is old and they do emphasize it - vintage stained glass, decorations. I enjoyed these things. Room itself was as I expected. Sound isolation worked perfectly: we tried to hear trams riding (busy street nearby) - and failed. Breakfast was nice too. Overall, everything was perfect for me.

We could not get the bathroom sink plug to close. Forgot to say something unfortunately. Would also have liked an English news channel if that was a possibility.

The room was really good, small but had everything we needed. Not a very good view from the window though. Everything clean. Breakfast was amazing, filled you up for the day! The location is good, near to the markets, shopping centres and old town.

The hotel is located in the center of Riga, and there are also bus and train stations nearby, which was strategic to reach other cities. As for the room, it was clean and welcoming. The breakfast was good and varied, with fresh quality food. Finally, the hotel staff has always been kind and available to our requests.

Perfectly positioned for the train station, the airport bus, the old town and the opera house. Small single room, but tastefully decorated and expensively equipped, the most comfortable bed l have ever slept in, excellent bathroom with lots of shelf space, super shower, tea making facilities, everything scrupulously clean. Quiet and peaceful. Lovely reception staff. Did not have time for breakfast but wished l could have tried it.

The price was a little high, but we felt we got quality that matched the price.

The rooms were excellent - really comfortable, good quality and we enjoyed great sleep. The location is great if you want to explore the old town or want to be close to the main rail and bus stations (it is the touristy part of town though, rather than the more glamorous art nouveau area).

The bathroom shower was a bit unconventional but not a problem. There are light rail trains that run on the street outside, so best to ask for a higher floor to avoid the street rumble of the trains, but you can't hear them too much.

Location was good, very easy to walk 1 block to the start of the old town, near the central park and close to the bus station/train station. Wifi worked well, bed was comfortable. Convenience stores & restaurants all within 1-5 block walk.

The view from the room towards the courtyard was not very fun, and a bit dark. The breakfast being so small, you often had to wait as the staff was refilling things. There is a big need for bigger plates/more produce from the kitchen so the wait staff doesnt need to run as much, and the guests don't have to wait. I spent a lot of time walking back and forth to the buffet since a lot of the things was finished. Also, a big need for clearer labelling. The bacon is laying in a pool of water which is a bit off-putting. TV had local and international channels, but it was not a smart TV, so no possibility of using for example Netflix or stream from your phone. Claiming to be sustainable, I can't see the sustainability in having one time small glass bottles for mayo, ketchup, mustard etc as well as one time plastic for honey etc.

The breakfast is delicious, the prosecco/mimosa buffet are a huge plus. There is a "nicer" selection than other buffets (such as brie, donuts, cakes, serrano ham etc etc), and although small, will make you very very full and satisfied. The receptionist that checked me in (early check-in!!) was very friendly, but the night staff during my last night less so. Breakfast staff was also friendly and sang to me for my birthday (although very embarrassing, it was nice of them haha) The rooms are truly impeccably clean and with comfortable bed and duvets. They accommodated my request for a quiet room which was appreciated. Nice touch with cucumber/lemon water, fruit, and sweets available all day in reception

Breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety – eggs, vegetables, potatoes, meat, cheese, fruit. Location was perfect. It was near the market, the train station and the old city. Many of the sites were in walking distance from the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Don't get fooled by the surroundings, it seems sketchy but it is centrally located for the bus station, railway station, bus stop to the airport and the city center. The attention was superb, very helpful and the breakfast was top.

I found the bed uncomfortably hard.

Location was perfect, good for walking around the old town or getting public transport such as the airport bus, or trams around the city. Public parking outside is cheap but not that plentiful (we got the last spot at 5pm). Breakfast is excellent and the room facilities are good. The style of the hotel also makes it special. Would definitely stay here again

Perfect location. Great (albeit crowded) breakfast. Superior double room was modern clean and very spacious and comfortable. The staff too were very accommodating.
