This was a gift to my parents and they were amazed by the staffs attitude, everyone was so comunicable and sweet, just 10/10. Everything so modern, clean, the spa also was just everything they needed for a relaxation. The dinner -exxcelent.

The main drawback of this hotel in peak season is the limited elevator capacity. There's two elevators, while in peak season its pretty clear that 3 or 4 are needed for a comfortable experience.

Good SPA, good service, great location, and the hotel restaurant was surprisingly good value for money. I had the salmon one night and beef cheeks another.

Good hotel, 5min walk to beach. Very good breakfast. Swimming pool nice. Few nice restaurants in walk distance (5-8min). Rooms nice and clean, WIFI works good.

Water quality was very poor in the room. Not the best place for special dietary needs. Also our pizzas were very salty for some reason.

Almost everything was super nice, very good SPA & breakfast! The staff is probably the most friendly and helpful I have ever seen. Props for all non-alcoholic drinks!

Slow wi-fi, bathroom not very comfortable: no space to put your personal stuff, no soap, sink low, shower very tiny.

Located in a nice and quiet area and still close to restaurants and sea. Comfortable bed and room have air conditioning. Breakfast was nice.

We stayed at Lielupe SPA by Semarah and overall had a pleasant experience. The price-to-quality ratio is very good, and the hotel meets the expected standards. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and the overall atmosphere is nice. A few minor inconveniences: it was a bit uncomfortable to use soap from a tube instead of a dispenser. Also, the reception staff seemed slightly inattentive at times — we had to remind them about certain things, such as unfreezing the deposit. Overall, a positive experience and a place we would recommend for a relaxing stay.

The Dinner in the Restaurant was very disappointing, very pricey, Pizza greasy, Burger chewey, Fries hard as hell, no good quality at all at a price you would expect excepional Food (up to €25 for a main dish, €16 for a Pizza!!!)

Free water should be offered in the SPA, since there are saunas. No possibility to buy water directly from SPA either. Parking was full on friday, should be clarified where to park in case the parking lot is full. We parked across the street for free.

As it is a big hotel, the breakfast area was very crowded and noisy in the morning, a bit uncomfortable with kids. Food was good though.

All previous reviews/customers are right that it feels busy always everywhere/every time (breakfast, elevators, spa), however, with just 30 seconds of patience, everything looks so perfectly functioning - this hotel is definitely run by a very world-class operational excellence team.

We spent the past 10 years in different hotels in Jurmala and we always avoided Lielupe Hotel due to a mix of high rates and a bit remote area, however, this was a "mistake". Hotel Lielupe is located in a truly charming corner of Jurmala, with lots of elegant restaurants, lovely cafeterias and lots of activities for kids. These are the key "likes" from the hotel: + you pay a bit higher daily rates, but then everything else is so nicely included: free pool/spa area, free gym, free kids club room, free breakfast etc. + lovely big Superior room with so many nice storage/shelves space which made us feel like home + good climate in the room: well-functioning air-conditioning + amazing menu at the restaurant: at least 5-6 suitable meals for kids and the food is great/original after trying at least 7-8 different meals. + playground outside, even though it is a bit worn-out
