We stayed for three weekends, some rooms are very good, others are poor. Upgrade all of them and you have a great hotel.

There is room for improvement, but it is good that they are trying. Cleanliness 10, staff 10.

Dated interior, hot water was not available, best case lukewarm, maybe because of 3rd floor or due to summer, but seems like a must have. TV had 3 channels from which 1 was not working.

Well-kept place in a beautiful location by the lake. Spacious family room, which basically consisted of 2 full hotell rooms with all the usual amenities and a common private lobby. Private parking and easy to get to from the main road.

Unprepared rooms, non-functioning water faucet, broken shower, forgotten towels, no hygiene products: shampoo, soap. Beds, really bad, hard, uncomfortable.

The location by the lake, the restaurant and the staff are what save this place from total collapse.

Not having the possibility to eat. Breakfast was possible, but quite late.

We stayed only one night, arrived at 9pm and left at 7am, hence didn't have too much time. There seems to be no restaurant. The beer was ok, but rather expensive. It seems a nice place on the shore of the lake, but only for staying there, not for walking around. So, it could be a nice stay if you don't like the crowds, or if you come with a bunch of friends.

We may have misread the booking.com website, as we filtered for breakfast. We were informed there was unfortunately no breakfast at our arrival. I think the sons may have been managing the site while their parents were out of town, but I'm just speculating. They were polite enough but did not engage. One young man DID make us an excellent coffee in the morning. It seemed as if we were the only guests. The shower had a broken door (sharp edges) and a shower curtain covered the space - which was ok but unexpected. The road approaching the hotel was very bumpy and uneven - might not have been upgraded since at least one winter ...? Again, the area was beautiful, and if we had more time to stay several days or a week in the area to relax, I might have been perfectly happy (if I'd had breakfast :)). There was a nice sand volleyball court just outside the back door. And a boat may have been available for the lake. We were on our way from Tallin to Vilnius just for an overnighter. This was a good 'halfway point'.

The beautiful location. The lake was like a mirror. The nature surrounding the area was fabulous. The inside of the hotel was gorgeous. The breakfast room looked like it might have been a good experience.

For the price i paid, no complaints at all, i was very happy with the value for money and will stay here again.

Accomodation at a very competitive price. Located on the ring road around Riga, ideal if you want to avoid the city and traffic. In a small village next to a lake, beautiful location. The price for the night was great value for money, i had lowered by expectations of what i will get for my money, but i was pleasantly surprised at the value. Very clean room, loved the beds (nice hard mattress) nice views. I arrived very late at night and someone met me there to let me in.

Food and drink options were limited. My bathroom shower was missing a sliding door so a shower curtain was put in place of it. Occasionally the floor would be wet since the curtain didn’t completely cover the shower tub. The bathroom sink had low pressure water. When the bathroom water was turned on, it seem smelled like rust.

When arrived staff dont speak english impossible to comunicate then got the key to room nr9 i open door theres 2 smalls but i booked double size bed room came back to staff saying wrong room and she insulted me that i dont speak latvian and its not my problem that my actual roon that i booked was reserved for someone else . The floors were filthy bed very uncomfortable ,shower only was spraying barely not cold water , toilet paper placed on the floor unhygienetic . Not RECOMEND !

Although the hotel has a lot of potential, the owners and staff seem to be doing everything they can to keep people from coming back: it's impossible to communicate in English at the reception, and the reception lady is very unhappy that people don't speak Russian. The restaurant is a complete mess: there is no menu, they offer three dishes to choose from, and the meat served is not fresh, they work as they want, they close when they want, they don't turn on the lights, and the prices are like in a normal restaurant... There were at least 6 spiders in our room, the bedspread smelled of chemicals or maybe mold. It's a pity.

No warm water during our one night stay. Beds were squeaking badly. The room smelled like a bar where it is allowed to smoke. The reason was that there was a chimney nearby the window and they were burning something there the whole time we stayed there. Woke up in the morning and still felt the bad smell so it had to be intense.

Took two days to change the light bulb. After three days, someone cleaned our room, even if the label (ask of room service was hanging every day. Everytime when out of toilet paper, I needed to ask for it at the reception. Just name it, not a good experience at all.

The bed is unbelievably noisy when turning side you would wake up. The bathroom size is not enough, it is more for kids. Staff promised to send the invoice by e-mail but never received it.

Reception and service very poor as. Not very well kept nor clean. No Aircon or at least a fan in the rooms. Very few fridges. Drain and water stinks in several rooms. Maintenance not very good if needed. Stayed with a big group so most of the rooms not recommended.

The room is very old, tired and seriously outdated. It was probably painted in warm colours in the 1980s! I can’t understand that staff looking after the rooms in this establishment haven’t noticed that both bedside lamp shades are shattered. The shower is appalling and doesn’t drain. it’s old and grubby looking. The water pressure is useless, so when you shower you can’t wash the soap off because it’s just a trickle. There’s a dirty old travel adapter in the socket in the bathroom which is filthy. I certainly wouldn’t charge my toothbrush in that! The pillow slip on my pillow slightly came off in the morning and I was horrified as to the dirty blood smeared pillow I’d been sleeping on all night.
