How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

No grizzles really.
Clean, well appointed flat. Not far from the station and supermarket. Easy ride to the city aboard the free tram. 3rd floor with lift.

The apartment was in an excellent location. It was spacious and very well laid out. There was plenty of room and lots of wardrobe and cupboard space. The appliances were brilliant and the bathroom was very good. The hosts were extremely attentive and accommodating and looked after all our needs. Communication with the hosts was exceptional. We loved this apartment and would highly recommend it.

Water from shower was not always warm enough.
Close to train station, not far from center, nice kitchen and shower, incl. microwave and (dish) washing machines.

The nearby road could be noisy with a window open,though it was worse than usual when we were there as there were temporary road works just below us.
Spacious,wellequiped bright room with a reasonable open view along the street. Short walk to the station and frequent trams to the Haute Ville.

You can hear a bit of noise of cars and airplanes, but it’s not relevant if you can sleep with these noises.
It was clean and at the right place. Many buses are available just walking 3-4 minutes.

Everything! They have everything we need for a family of 4. Great communication. Washing machine with dryer was great, beds comfortable, bathroom was good. Kitchen well equipped. Good conditions and value for money!

The building was in a slightly dodgy part of town and access to the room is a bit dark and smokey but, once inside, very nice.
Great apartment. Well equipped and had good supplies for washing and comfort. Great free transport in Luxembourg and bus very close.

We loved our stay in this apartment. The location was very good for us. We were 3 people and the apartment was very spacious. It had a coffee machine, a kitchen with utensils, and the shower was very good! The apartment was very clean, as were the bed linen and towels.

This property was very clean & comfortable. An elevator to our floor made transporting luggage easy & the location was excellent, under 10 minutes to the train station & not a long walk into the old town. It was a warm & cosy apartment!

The area is a little weird, nothing too alarming, and overall safe to walk around. I arrived on Sunday, and grocery stores were closed, except two ethnic stores. This might be just a preference, the pillows could have been a little fuller for more support. This last one wasn't a deal breaker, but the faucet need some maintenance.
The apartment is located close to a train station, so easy access to the city. With free public transportation that makes traveling around the city easier. The apartment was sparkling clean, had everything we needed, and the host was very kind to come down and setup the sofa bed for us. Good wifi for remote working. Heating system was working well. Overall, a great experience and would book this place again.

The area the apartment is in is not so pretty. Walking 400 metres from and to the train station with our luggage was doable, but given we were in Europe for 5 weeks, our suitcases were a little bit of a burden to pull that distance, so if you have a lot of luggage, accommodation closer to the station may suit better.
Spacious for the two of us. Clean and comfortable. The location was okay to catch the free tram into the old town. It was great to have a washer/dryer combination so we could was our clothes.

The view was unexciting and we could hear some road noise. It was very hot inside late afternoon, even with a fan on.
The apartment was a good size. The kitchen was very useful with the basic cooking needs. The location was close to the train and tram stations and supermarkets. The proprietors responded quickly to messages.
