Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

A nice friendly place for a stopover. We knew there was no aircon but we were fine with the good fan

CanadaGetting to our room was confusing; walk behind reception desk, up stairs, push a door, then pull the next door, but watch your step, etc. With the somewhat italian-style shower, you couldn't shower without splashing the floor. No mini fridge. Only one chair in the room. Air conditioning didn't really work.
We arrived early and were able to check in very early! Room was very nice and a good size. Window curtains kept light out well. Despite overlooking a car park, the sunset view was nice.

FranceAs usual, hotel prices are pretty high in Luxembourg. Limited options to buy food locally.
Hotel easily accessible by public transportation (direct bus to Luxembourg and Bettembourg). Room with all the necessary facilities. Straightforward check-in and check-out procedure. Staff very kind and helpful.

BelgiumIt is a minor concern but the location is a bit away from any grocery shops. I am thinking that if one day the hotel installed a small vending machine for some snacks and soft drinks, it would further increase the comfort of staying there.
Fairly quiet place with comfortable room. It is only about 15 min. drive from the Luxembourg city while being less expensive than hotels in the city. Air conditioning worked well. Breakfast was sufficiently good. Staff was very friendly. Public parking is available just 50 m away. It appeared to be free on Saturday/Sunday, not sure about working days. The hotel is combined with a restaurant but we did not use it.

LithuaniaRooms do not have air conditioning, so the ventilator was put as an option. But is is loud and not nice, so we had to open windows during the night, but expect some noise from the street, even though it is a quite town, so at night it is not that much car noise.
We searched for a location "on the way". This was it. The parking is only on street, they do not provide reserved or free parking. It is free after working hours until 8 AM and weekends. The hotel has a good restaurant onsite with a good food. Service is very good both in the restaurant and hotel. Rooms was big enough. WiFi is ok, stable. Breakfast simple, but was enough of different options and not too much to complain about.

United KingdomBreakfast was €16 pp and we didn't feel it was worth it. Not a huge choice and the fly buzzing around put me off. Only boiled eggs, no cooked breakfast. No breakfast tea either. In the room there was a coffee machine but would have preferred a kettle to make tea rather than strong coffee. Bar closed at 9pm so didn't eat or drink there apart from breakfast. Roeser is very pretty but was a ghost town. Nowhere to grab any snacks or food adhoc.
The room was spotless and very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and there was air con in the room. The location is good, very quiet but a short bus ride from the city. Hotel very quiet. Staff were friendly enough. Would use again but would buy breakfast at the bakers down the road.

United KingdomI understand that it’s not the property’s fault but there were very loud roadworks basically under my window which started at 7.30am. I think it would be a good idea to warn guests about this. Luckily I was out quite early every day anyway
Room was a good size, close to bus stop and a 15-min walk to the next village for the train (although due to renovation there are no trains until September 2025 - just something to note!)

United KingdomHard to check in but a quick phone call solved the problem. The manager didn't speak great English but we all managed to get by.
A great hotel in a quiet area only 20 minutes bus ride into the city. Getting into the hotel was a challenge but we called the phone number and the manager came straight away. He was great and really helpful. The rooms were nice with a great shower. The breakfast had a good selection. There is a free bus into the city only 3 minutes walk down the road which was easy to find and use. We managed to park for free behind the hotel which was a bonus. We'd definitely recommend this hotel.

United KingdomOnly thing we did not like is that there were no double beds, it's too single beds put together and the wood around the bed wasn't super comfortable to sit aroud the bed or safe to have a little toddler as he hurt himself a little bit at the begging until became more of the space. My suggestion is getting proper double beds and it will make the rooms a lot more comfortable.
We loved the staff, the location, and the spacious room. Overall we loved our stay at this hotel.

NetherlandsThe parking situation is currently - due to road construction - not nice. We had notified that we would arrive late, and had prior received the codes to enter the hotel, but there was no night-light inside, so I had to use my phone-light to find my way through the hotel. Better to have a night light burning all night round when you know there are late arrivers.
Flexible breakfast - we did not reserve this, but there was room. It was great, nice staff. Shower was great, the room itself very spaceous.

ItalyThe bus line of 511 was the only way to go to the city center. Due to sudden construction / on Sunday being only one bus in two hours, you need to check the website of bus company. The water drainage of sink was not good indeed…

United KingdomNo air-conditioning, although they did supply a fan which also sprayed water, which made the heat just about bearable! And it doesn't have its own parking, apart from about 3 spaces right outside the hotel. You have to use a public car park just down the street, but for this you need to have one of those parking clock things to put on your dashboard (not sure what they're called, but they're quite common in Germany, too).
Nice little, privately-run hotel, out of the way of Luxembourg City. Handy if you're looking for something a bit cheaper and quieter. The room we had was superb, very clean, with an extra bed added for our son, and unexpectedly had a small kitchenette with fridge, microwave and even hobs for cooking on. The breakfast was superb, with a large choice of pastries, cakes, breads and cereals with meats and cheeses, plus boiled eggs.
