Bed and couch were really uncomfortable and the whole building was roasting-entrance, lift, lobby all red hot and we couldn’t get the air con working in the apartment but having 2 balconies was great because we just let the fresh air in

Too few towels. There wasn't a face towel or towel to dry my hair. I had one large towel for 3 days. Otherwise they literally had everything I needed.

Though the thermostat was confusing and couldn’t a just it, but since stayed the day getting to know the city it was not a problem, and I’m sure the host would’ve helped if asked.

Apartment is beautiful, with an amazing balcony! Communication with the host was really easy. The location is the best in town, hands down. The apartment is also fully equipped with everything.

Nothing really - it's just very good

Location, Location, Location. Unit was modern with everything you need (but no toaster). Supermarket plus bakeries all within 50 metres. Easy walking to everything we wanted to see. Large number of restaurants / cafe's around. Getting to the parking a little tricky for out of towner's but if you follow the instructions its very convenient. Host was easily contactable and always helpful

We had an amazing stay at this beautifully modern apartment! The location was perfect, with a café on the first floor for quick coffee runs and a supermarket just a short walk away, making everything super convenient. The host was exceptional—extremely kind, attentive, and always available to help with any needs. They provided detailed instructions, which made accessing the apartment and navigating the space a breeze. The apartment was well-equipped, including a washing and drying machine, which was a huge plus. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this place!

Nothing, excellent value, friendly and thoughtful host, great parking.

Excellent location! Shops, restaurants, very nice grocery within a minute of location. Comfy bed, full kitchen, plus items (playpen, high chair) for small children. The bath is over the top (rain shower, glass, gorgeous) as is the full very impressive kitchen. We had a simple dinner and breakfast for a one night stay as we traveled between Paris and Brussels with a stop in Bastogne. The host was excellent and gave easy to understand entry instructions, very responsive via email to any questions. Parking (in the same building) was relatively inexpensive for the location, $20 euro from 4 pm to 10:30 am. Nice touches too- smart TV, fast wi fi, full laundry, coffee provided. 10 of 10!

It was very hot during our stay as the apartment faces west and catches the heat of the afternoon sun. This would be lovely in winter but a bit of an issue in the heat of summer. The portable ac was a help in the lounge area but not for the bedroom, although the fans helped here but it was still rather hot whilst sleeping overnight. This would not put me off staying here again but it is just a consideration, more so for timing when you might visit Luxembourg. I agree with a previous comment that an extra lounge in the living area would help, as would adding a bedside lamp to the left side of the bed. There is only one on the right side. These are only small issues, though.

The apartment was a spacious, sun-filled, modern space with a large bathroom and ideally located for exploring the old town area. The kitchen was well appointed for those who might want to dine in. We loved having a washing machine and access to parking located below the apartment in the same building complex and accessible via lift. We parked right near the particular lift that went straight up to the level where the Apartment is located. This was a huge plus. Our host, Christian, was very helpful, and accommodating us with an earlier check in time, and replied promptly to any of our questions.

We enjoyed staying in Lux City Hamilius - Modern & Spacious Apt for three nights. 1. Checking in: The host emailed me the detailed instructions with photos for self-checking in. I had a bit trouble entering the code for the lock box, as the instruction says ":ABCD-EFGH" so I entered as indicated, but it turned out that the colon ':' and dash '-' should not be part of the code. I just entered "ABCDEFGH" and it worked. 2. The apartment is very large with a kitchen and we used the kitchen a few times (it had everything we needed). A Proxy Supermarket is next to the apartment. It also has a washing machine but we did not use it. The bed was comfortable. The shower room with double vanity and the toilet room are separated, a nice arrangement. 3. The location is excellent in the city center, very close to all the attractions of the city and many restaurant, cafes, and shops are nearby. The bus and tram stations are literally at the door step of the apartment. We took bus line 16 from the airport and dropped off at the Hamilius station, and 2-minute walking to the apartment. We took tram (2 min walking) to the central train station for a day trip to Vianden Castle in the north part of the country (train+bus for about 1 hour). Super convenient. By the way, all public transportations in Luxembourg are free. 4. The host was very friendly and helpful. We communicated on WhatsApp and he always responded to my questions in less than 1 minute. 5. Wifi in the apartment is pretty fast. A speed test showed about 50 mbps. I high recommend Lux City Hamilius - Modern & Spacious Apt.

Cons. Can be noisy with windows open at night, city noise, one of the positives was that it was right in front of the main tram and bus stop and on a main road. This make the city noise loud with the windows open which is necessary to run the portable a/c unit (vent hot air out) Quiet with doors closed but can become hot inside. I actually like some city noise the buses and trams are not the problem its the cars that like to drive overly fast past the windows that make it loud. The location makes this CON easy to forget. I'll take the location over some noise anytime.!!!!

Pros: Host gave perfect instruction with Pictures for getting keys and checking in. Parking garage below the entire complex, easy to find using GPS. Location is perfect. Heart of city, near all the main sites, restaurants, grocery store right next door, Main Trams and Buses leave right out front of apartment making it only a short 8 minute ride from central train station. Nice place, great kitchen, washer/dryer, nice shower, comfortable bed and portable room A/C that can be moved from room to room as needed for cooling.
