Of course this is personal but for us the matrasses were too hard. Breakfast was €19 per person but you need to pay extra for an omelet :(. Unfortunately at the swimming pool there is no bar and we saw the waitress only once to order some drinks. After that, no more service. There is a spa but no treatments such as massages.

Splendid location with big rooms that all have a balcony. The outside pool is great.

No availability for evening meal. Very poor breakfast. Very limited choice. No fresh milk, extra charge for eggs, despite already being quite expensive. Sauna was out of order, and smaller steam rooms could only be operated by contacting hotel reception, which wasn’t exactly convenient.

Big clean room with sitting area and balcony overlooking the lake. Very dated decor, but they had made a virtue of its ‘traditional’ feel. Swimming pools and relaxation area was lovely.

The hotel seems to be understaffed. There is a huge restaurant with a terrace but they claim to be full since they do not have enough staff (waiting staff or in the kitchen)? It is a lost potential, the food also looks very classic. This hotel has lived its golden glory, it would deserve new furniture. Everything feels rather old fashioned… which you may find charming. It seemed that the spa services were closed, it all looked very quiet and empty.

The location of the hotel is beautiful, especially if you can enjoy the view of Echternach. The room was very spacious and clean and we loved the most the two pools. We rented bikes nearby the hotel, the biking paths in this region are fantastic. Highly recommended.

Please change the pillows, had to fold them in half and use them, they are very thin. More umbrellas and sun loungers need to be placed by the pool.

However only one sauna was turned on during my stay. So no real access to all wellness spa day. Breakfast is very poor with no warm food, you have to pay extra if you want eggs. First time ever I stay in a hotel with breakfast without eggs/bacons etc.

They have amazing wellness structure, indoor and outdoors swimming pool and several saunas. Great view from the terrace. Staff is very friendly and nice.

Dinner is a set menu which may be difficult if you are limited with what you eat.

Room was very big and very clean albeit a bit dated. Staff were friendly and efficient. Dinner was delicious and breakfast too. Very quiet location with some fabulous views. Would definitely go back.

The property address on Booking.com was incorrect. If you plan to reach the hotel by car, find it on Google Maps. It would help if you had your bottle opener with you—there is no such thing in the room.

The sauna suite was excellent—clean, comfortable, and with an exceptional view of the lake nearby. Friendly service, nice breakfast (separate payment), and great location. We're planning to revisit this place in spring.

Some noise coming from people at the lake.

The rooms were big and clean. The bathroom was huge. I really liked the shower, and the bad for relaxing. The suite had a terras, where you could sit outside. Enjoy the sun. There were plenty of parkingspots. Wifi worked great. Friendly staff.

Beds were a bit soft for our liking, breakfast was mostly bread and pastry, a few veggies would be nice.

The staff was amazing, location and city views were awesome. there is a covered pathway connecting the spa facilities to the hotel, so no need to go outside, which was great.

We booked the hotel partly because it looked like it had a good restaurant. And our booking confirmation provided a price for a set evening dinner. But when we phoned ahead to book a table we were told the restaurant was closed that day. And this was on a Friday in mid-September!

This is a comfortable hotel with large well equipped rooms in convenient location for overnight stay.

The hotel itself is a little old and it shows in the outdated room decoration and somewhat creaky beds. Another minor detail is that we left two spa towels on the floor to be exchanged, and they exchanged all towels in the bathroom except the ones on the floor. A sign clearly indicated that to be environmentally friendly, please only leave towels on the floor that should be exchanged, and the rest will stay (common practice at many hotels) but it seems they did the opposite.

The room and bathroom were extremely spacious, very clean and had a nice balcony with great views over the garden. The spa facilities were great, with many options including an indoor, outdoor pool as well as different saunas, hammams and relaxation rooms. Ideal for a relaxing weekend. Best of all, the hotel is located very close to many beautiful hiking trails of the Mullerthal region, and it is also right next to the Echternach lake. Excellent location. We were also gifted a local bottle of wine upon leaving, which was a nice finishing touch to an already ideal stay.

Didn't eat breakfast or evening at the hotel, if they had just put on a sensible price meals then we would have probably used more. Breakfast for 4 cost was well out of budget and not value for money Hotel a little dated and could do with modenising, and evening bar lacked atmosphere so would have probably used more. Plenty of local services though so didn't prevent enjoyment

The breakfast missed any fresh fruit and vegetables, This is really below the standard these days in such a good hotel. The coffee could also have been better.

The indoor and outdoor pool was great, with an easy access from the room. We used it a lot.
