- Bathroom light works on a sensor and a fairly short timer. Frequently goes out while you're showering or on the toilet. - Glass bathroom door allows the bathroom light to illuminate the whole room at night. - Fairly small safe - Pool only has one set of stairs in and out. Bubble bath didn't work. - The room has seem quite some use and needs to be refurbished (The floor shows damage from moving the bed, the curtains were loose, a bit of paint here and there, the outside table wasn't in a great shape. A few small things that do add up)

- Nice, large, cool room with balcony. - Tv was fine with a good international selection. - Water heater was fine. - Glasses. - Small refrigerator. - Loads of space to put your belongings. - Great view. - Good indoor pool available to use when you please (between 7am - 7pm). Has some buttons to activate various things (for example a kind of shower). - Free public transport close by. - Free parking right next to the hotel.

From check in to check out, Management and staff were helpful and we had some great banter. Room was large with plenty of storage with a view of the Castle. Food was superb and particularly great as I am Coeliac and nothing was a problem. As long as they are aware, they will take great care and I had no problems at all. A very professional team and we will definitely stay again. The hotel is in a great location and very well organised.

I could appreciate nice relaxing music in the swimming pool area, in the area where was breakfast served.

I recommend this hotel due friendly atmosphere, tasty buffet style of breakfast with so much variations. Room was clean, beds was comfortable and from balcony directly view to the mountains and castle Vianden. Swimming pool with view to the castle, gym and sauna gratis give nice relax moments during the stay. We enjoyed also the dinner. Location is also what I liked- in the center and still not too noisy, Make a few steps and you can take nice walk along the river and even not 1 Km to the caste Vianden. We enjoyed our stay at all.

Good location in Vianden. Motorbike friendly with free secure underground car park. Good size room with comfy bed. Had great view of the castle from our room. Bathroom was fine and very clean. We ate in the restaurant and had a good meal. Friendly staff. Very helpful guy on reception who gave me a tube of super glue to fix my bike boots when the soles were coming off!

Fella on the front desk I feel should not be customer facing. Not overly friendly through the three nights spent there. Reminded me of Basil Fawlty... I stopped saying good evening to him in the end as all he did was grunt!

The hotel looks very nice, a bit rustique. It was a bit cold in the beginning, but everything good afterwards. Spa is great and has an wonderful view towards the castle.

During eating in the hotel restaurant, my boyfriend got a hair in his dessert. Clearly the hair color is not from me or him. It made the restaurant experience not that comfortable. we mentioned to the hotel staff ( waitor) , he didn’t react on it. And we repeated twice: it’s not nice finding a hair in the dessert. He neglected our feedbacks. Then during check out before we left hotel, we also mentioned this to the reception and advice to take care of food hygiene quality, the reception felt we are a bit strange and reacted : okay. Nothing else. The attitude from the staffs made us feel not satisfied with their service.

Facilities in the room were very limited. I was expecting a electric hot water kettle, but it was not there. The number of electric outlet for charging was also limited to only two. The acoustic of the room was a major setback. I could clearly hear my neighbors talking and playing TV. The breakfast was very basic. The price was on the higher side considering all these drawbacks.

The location of the hotel was very convenient and right next to the bus stop. The room size was okay with basic amenities available. It is okay for a short stay.
