Location was very good, breakfast was tasty. Taxi services - great.

Staff were absolutely delightful, very polite and friendly. Explained everything when checking in and were helpful with any other questions afterwards.

Could do with extra pillows available in the room, I’m sure they were available if requested though.

The breakfast was good. The room nice and large. The location is good. We personally don't like wall to wall rugs, but it was clean.

It needs remodeling.

The rooms are not cleaned unless you tell them to and put a sign on the door. This is strange and stupid. 4 star hotel no room service at night. Staff not polite. Old design. Nothing works there. Old gym. Very small pool there are much better options.

The hotel is close to the middle of Laisvės alėja, and thus at the heart of the Art Déco part of the city. It is of good standard, staff is efficient, breakfast choice is very good, rooms are functional and comfortable.

Not something that the hotel can do much about, but parking can occasionally be a challenge. This would be the same issue for any hotel in the city centre. Viešbutis Kaunas has a few dozen parking slots accessible through a porch on Mariono gatvė (which cannot be reserved in advance - check availability before you reach or rejoin the hotel). We were lucky to find a place almost every time. When the parking is full, as Laisvės alėja is totally pedestrian and parking lots in the area are few and small, you may have to search for quite some time within the square kilometre around the hotel before you can park.

Really good place in city center. Parking have limited space, but they have 2 EV charger what is really good and useful. Room was big a lot of free space.

Upon arrival, the room had a very strong, unpleasant smell from an old, unclean carpet. In the bathroom, we immediately found a huge spider. When we tried to go out to the terrace and pulled the curtains aside, there were even more spiders and lots of small flies buzzing around. Eventually, even ants were crawling on the bed. I showed all of this to a staff member, but the only response I received was that nothing could be done, and I should just take pictures and leave a review. At the very least, the hotel could have offered a discount or some form of compensation, as spending a night surrounded by insects was far from comfortable. To make things worse, breakfast was also very poor and unappealing. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay, and I would not recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was diverse and good quality. The location is not so close to the old city center, but it's still in a vibrant are of the city. The building architecture is nice.

The air conditioning is set exactly above the bed. Given that it was quite hot in the room (which is probably caused by the building materials given that the outside temperature did not exceed 23 degrees), we had to turn it on, but it was annoying to have the air flow directed towards us during the night. Despite the official policy stating that the parking cannot be reserved in advance, the staff told me that the remaining parking spots were actually reserved for some soldiers coming to stay for a longer period of time :)). I didn't know that soldiers must be accomodated into hotel rooms for several months (probably using taxpayers' money, but well...)
