Really a wonderful homestay: calm and peaceful location with a beautiful garden and really friendly host. The room is simple but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Would warmly recommend to anyone!

Great location close to Rock, and though it was so secluded it was only a short walk restaurants, laundry, and good coffee place. The meals were amazing and plentiful (both breakfast and dinner). Lovely family runs it - so hospitable. They took care of our needs from A to Z, including finding good drivers for our activities. The grounds and vegetation were peaceful and beautiful. We had a view of Sigiriya Rock at breakfast. Dining outside in the shaded dining area with a breeze and in nature was memorable.

Ideal location. Lovely flower, fruit, and vegetable gardens on the premises. Well appointed rooms. The hosts (Harsha, Priyanka, and their lovely family) were very friendly and welcoming. Great view of Sigiriya while dining.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The patties were some of the best I’ve ever had. They also served bananas grown on their own farm, called "Naga bananas." I was surprised by their rich, sticky texture. Whenever I asked for help with things I wanted to do or places I wanted to visit, they immediately made arrangements. They were incredibly reliable and helpful. Also, their child was so cute—it was very heartwarming.

If I had to point something out, it's that being in the heart of nature means there's a chance insects may get in. As long as you stay mindful, it shouldn’t be a problem.

Harsha and his lovely family have been truly welcoming and hospitable. They took us in in their family home right next to Sigiriya Rock or Pidurangala, where they helped us with any tours/recommendations/advice we needed during our stay and they spoilt us with delicious, home-made Sri Lankan dinners and breakfasts during our 3-day stay!

We had a great stay at Yashis place, we did a lovely cooking class with the family, talked about the life in Sri Lanka and had a lot of fun. The host was great and friendly. - beautiful garden with lots of different plants, animals, and hammocks -plentiful breakfast on the terrace with a view on Lion‘s Rock -spacious rooms with AC and mosquito net

I spend one day at Yashi’s Place Sigiriya and felt as being home! Wonderful and very very helpful hosts! Thank you very much! Breakfast and dinner were extremely good! I had a spacious and comfortable room with AC and super clean.prices are very reasonable. Provided all the facilities what need in the star class hotel.

The Garden.

Big room but not very clean. Big bathroom but with little water. Wifi not always fast. Good breakfast but not cheap. It seemed like they always wanted to propose something to me.

the place is surrounded by nature, you can see local animals. perfect breakfast, and very nice people.

The family who run this Homestay are so friendly and lovely, they helped us with a problem with our Tuk Tuk and their 2year old daughter is a character! The room was so comfortable and clean, great value for money, would highly recommend. Location perfect too!

Great place to start our vacation in Sri Lanka. Harsha helps you with anything you need to get organized: transportation, safari, etc. Spacious room, nice breakfast and perfect located for excursions (Lion Rock).

It was very clean, even when you enter the room it smells clean. The hosting family was very friendly and helpful with any advices. The food was homemade and delicious, fruits and juices were made of fresh fruits from the garden. Fantastic value for money.

Really lovely and quiet place, with a view on the Lions Rock from the breakfast table. The owner and his family are amazing, very helpful, so friendly and the best rice & curry we had so far! Close to all kinds of restaurants. I would absolutely recommend this place!

We lived 2 days in paradise. Harsha the host is very kinds and always helpful. His wife cooked Sri Lankan foods are very delicious. We joined her cooking class. They using most of spices and vegetables they own farm and garden. They planted many fruits ( mango , banana, guava, etc..). It’s a shame we have to leave this paradise. Definitely we will come back next year.

It’s a best hotel we stayed in Sri Lanka around our trip of 15days. It’s a paradise . In the morning (during the breakfast) we can heard so many kinds of birds sounds . You can see Hornbills, peacocks, etc . Food was really delicious. Every day different foods and all of so much tasty. We did safari it was a successful safari who host organized .

We had a fabulous 3nights at Yashi's place which is set in a beautiful garden and is very quiet and relaxing. Harsha and his family are wonderful kind hosts and can help organise anything you need for transportation around Sri Lanka and booking tours etc. Each morning a very generous Sri Lankan breakfast is served with lots of variety and home cooked evening meals are available on request. We highly recommend.

The food was astonishingly good, owners like friends, beutiful nature around, hot water and nice pressure, not like in other hotels. Would have loved to stay here at least a week.
