Reviews of Villa Methsandi

I spent three good nights in this hotel and I’m absolutely satisfied. The owner and staff were kind and helped to see attractions nearby. I also had breakfast and dinner and it was really tasty so I didn’t have to look for any restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable. The Jungle beach is 15 minutes walk from the hotel, so it’s a good option if you like hiking. Thank you very much!

Peaceful location. Big bed. Air conditioning. Large kitchen. Good breakfast.

It is not very private as you share the balcony with the other room. There is nowhere to sit comfortably: the ‘sofa’ is broken and the two chairs are very high - too high for the table. Cold shower.

Treatment

Very Nice hosters that welcomed us with a fruit Juice and Nice talk. We could wash our clothes for a small price. Place near Jungle beach.

So cozy and calm staying on villa. The owners are very hospitality and I'm sure will help with anything you need. Such a good kitchen opened for using by guests with all equipment. Pay attention that it's located exactly in the jungles so be ready for it😊 monkeys ,mosquito etc)

It can be little bit difficult for someone to go up from the road to the villa and go via jungles to the beach (which is close with a short way) . For me no problem about it.

Silens place. Not far from train and bus station Unawatuna.

Place is so ramp place even tuktuk doesn't go there. We need to cary our bags on hand. We said owner that our flight next day morning evening we will go Colombo. If possible left bags in here. First you can even use room if not customer. After in the morning when we were going Gale trip 8AM they ask us to leave our bags other customer will come. We said no we have time. After write whatsapp pls take before 12AM. Not good way to comunucation. Also so much mosquito inside to room. Hard to sleep. Their Villa more house mind. Not profesinal way to manage. I don't recommend.

Everything was alright ♥️

The accommodation is located in a quiet area on the edge of the forest and the wifi was very good. We had a nice breakfast.

The view was beautiful. The breakfast was good.

The room was humid and the pics are much nicer then the actual room.

The hosts were great, welcoming and kind. They kindly prepared us a lovely breakfast and were around to answer any questions. Although this accommodation is definitely off the beaten track, we loved feeling like we were in a jungle. Their garden was beautiful and waking up here felt special.

The only fault we can find with the room itself was it didn’t have a curtain , more just a netting so we felt a little exposed when relaxing. Nothing major. The location was a novelty to us however it was a little out of the way for convenience. It wouldn’t be suitable for someone looking to stay Central as it does require you to walk up a hill, off the main road. Jungle beach was also quite a walk away, not long in a tuktuk but we walked.

good location, great clean villa near the beach, very friendly hosts, large equipped kitchen, comfortable bed. beautiful area. I'll definitely come back here again
