We had a wonderful stay in Sigiriya with Naomi and Nalin. It was my partners birthday on the first night and the family went above and beyond to make him feel special by cooking us a delicious meal and throwing him a birthday party! The accommodation was clean and tidy, perfect for a short stay. The bed was comfortable and shower hot.

The property was on the edge of town but Nalin was always on hand to take us anywhere we wanted. We really liked being a bit further out as it was quiet and peaceful.

The staff Mr. Nalin provided very good services, nice behavior, good breakfast, very clam & quiet place.

The electricity was cut off from 10am to 5pm from Govt authorities due to maintenance. Guest house should have some back up power plan.

Spacious house/apartment with comfortable bed, with fan and AC. Location is somewhat remote in relationship to Sigiriya's main street (~40min walking), which is both an advantage and a disadvantage - you have absolute tranquility with just jungle making noises, while the main buzz is further down the road. Suggestion: would be nice where to dry the clothes.

While apartment was great, bathroom could use some minor maintenance - bathroom door knob would require some fixing and bathroom drain had some smell.

I recently stayed at the View hotel Sigiriya and I cannot express enough how wonderful our experience was, largely thanks to Naomi. From the moment we arrived, she went out of her way to ensure that our stay was nothing short of amazing. Every day, Naomi greeted us with a warm smile and personalized service that made us feel right at home. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible 7 curry dinner she prepared for us. Naomi's attention to detail and genuine care for her guests made our trip truly special. She provided recommendations for local attractions and activities, always checking in to see if we needed anything. It's rare to encounter such dedication and warmth in the hospitality industry. Internet was slow, but better in the dining area. Other than that it’s all good

The family who run the home stay are so lovely! They gave us the best rates for tuktuk rides and taught us some Sri Lankan dishes in the kitchen too! We had the best time with them

The property is very basic but in line with the price

Very big room, clean bedsheets. Nice host! As long as you have a Tuktuk or some other vehicle it’s a great hotel to visit Sigiriya.

The bathroom was not spotless but overall clean.

Calm peaceful property! With lovely take taker. If you are in a group it’s going to be fun.

It’s although very far from the main property. You need Tuktuk for your transport to anywhere.

BEST AND KINDEST SRI LANKAN FAMILY WE MET! LOVELY ROOMS AND VERY CLEAN AS WELL. THEY HAVE THEIR OWN TUKTUK WITH WHICH YOU CAN DRIVE EVERYWHERE.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our room was very clean, spacious and modern. Our host Nayomi and her family were very accommodating; every morning we were served a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast (which was delicious), Nayomi helped us book transport throughout our stay, our laundry was done at a reasonable price and Nayomi even helped us get rid of some unwanted frogs that took shelter in our room! This was one of the best places we’ve stayed in Sri Lanka as the hospitality was unmatched and the room was great for the price.

The WiFi could be improved, it only worked well outside and on one half of the room. We couldn’t get connection to use our data so better WiFi would’ve been great.

The room was very comfortable large and clean. Lovely en suite. The place is very tranquil and quiet. The breakfast is enough to last all day and is very tasty. All the staff , reception and chefs and helpers are all very helpful and friendly. It is a great place to stay off the beaten track.

There is nothing to dislike.

This hotel is run by the sweetest family! We had everything we needed during our stay: AC, yummy breakfast, a comfy bed, and hot water for the shower. On our first night, we had dinner cooked fresh by the chef at the hotel. They set up a cute table for us under the stars! Breakfast was also very yummy and included with our stay. We had a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast of dhal, hoppers or roti, sambol, omelette (optional), fresh fruit, and coffee or tea. It was so delicious and I'm getting hungry just thinking of it. We had a blast hanging out with their family, especially their son! He's the cutest little two-year-old with a ton of energy. We also had a tour of the many viewpoints of Sigirya's Lion Rock by the hotel! Just note that the hotel is about 4km from Sigirya's Lion Rock. I recommend staying here!

The WIFI is a bit weak. If you need to do work remotely, you can visit Barista in town and work from there for a faster, stable internet connection.

The staff are friendly and friendly. The environment is beautiful. The rooms are spacious and clean. Bicycles can be borrowed. It’s worth staying here.

Amazing property, large bedroom with en-suite. The location was great. Authentic Sri Lankan food cooked from fresh veg grown in their garden. Most of all, the hosts Nayomi & Nalin ensured we had the best stay possible.
