The property is beautifully located right by the lake, with a lovely garden and a nice, clean pool. During our stay, we were the only guests, which made the experience feel very special and peaceful. The room was nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable. The staff was extremely polite and welcoming, making us feel well taken care of. A great place to relax and enjoy nature in a quiet setting – highly recommended overall!

The only thing we didn’t enjoy as much was the breakfast – it was very basic. Also, we were charged extra for tea and didn’t receive any other drink as part of the meal, which was disappointing.

The location is good. It is right next to the lake.

Food was very average. They don't accept credit cards.. but in all fairness it was mentioned while booking. The beds weren't very comfortable and the rooms weren't clean when we checked in. There were cobwebs

I had a wonderful experience staying at **Nilambara Lake View** in Dambulla yesterday. The location is absolutely breathtaking, with serene lake views that made my stay truly relaxing. Great location with a stunning lake view

Our experience was disappointing as the pool was not cleaned upon arrival, frustrating our group. Despite mentioning tea-making items, they were not provided, and some rooms lacked bottled water. Additionally, at breakfast, only bottled water was served but charged separately without prior notice.

The route to the hotel is a bit bumpy, but with a vehicle pretty easy

The location is stunning, overlooking a large lake and paddy fields, with lovely gardens and a nice pool. You can see Dambulla cave temples, and another beautiful Temple, There are parrots flying overhead. Beautiful! The staff and welcome was also great, they could not do enough to make our stay a good one. Rooms are large and clean Breakfast is huge (we had a smaller version and it was delicious)

I think the restaurant menu could be more Sri Lankan, and focus on excelling there rather than having a multinational. End, but that's my personal preference

The place is calm and very pretty, perfect for a quiet getaway. The rooms are super clean and worth the price. Also the staff are really friendly and helpful.

Overall stay was good as we arrived late on our day of check in. Staff were really very helpful. Cleanliness was not up to our expectations. Could have been better.

Rooms were not ventilated properly. Odd smell.
