Simply Peace truly lives up to its name. Beautiful, calm setting, spacious and clean rooms, great food, and an amazing team who made us feel at home. One of the best stays we had in Sri Lanka!

We LOVED it here. Easily one of the best stays of our three week trip. The room was amazing, the facilities were great and the staff were brilliant. It’s a bit out of the way, but a very short Tuktuk ride to Hiriketiya or Tangalle. They have three dogs who are also amazing company.

They could do with a few more vegan options on their food menu, but the options they had were really tasty…. Vegan milk would be appreciated!!

Suresh and the team were fantastic – they helped with everything and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy. They organized our transfer and a safari to Yala, and patiently answered all our questions. The villa and the property were spotless and well-maintained. One of the highlights was the presence of three adorable and friendly dogs – Rocky, Roxy, and Holya – who made our stay even more special. I also enjoyed a wonderful outdoor massage with a beautiful view of the lagoon. Everything was just perfect – we truly loved our experience!

There were a few tiny lizards and the smallest frogs in the room. We informed the team, and they did their best to help by using a spray, although it didn’t make much of a difference. It wasn’t a big issue for us, but something to keep in mind. Given the hotel's location right next to the lagoon, it's quite understandable and part of the natural surroundings.

I’ve spent 2 amazing nights at Simply Peace, and let me tell you - the name truly speaks for itself, because that’s exactly how I felt throughout my stay. My villa was one of the best, with a direct view of the pool. The energy of this place is so good, and so are the people who work here - everyone is incredibly kind, proactive, and always willing to help! There are also animals who live at the resort and they are so cute! Dogs would come say hi during breakfast, and they love being pet, so don’t hesitate to give them a little love. Special thanks to Suresh and his team for organizing the sweetest birthday surprise! They brought a cake with candles and arranged a “Happy Birthday” sign and balloons - it was really thoughtful and made me feel very special 🥰 Sanjeewa - a driver who picked me up was the sweetest man too! And a big, big thank you to the therapist Dara. That was one of the best massages I’ve ever had. l walked out feeling like a brand new person and my energy felt so light and pure. I later tried a massage at another 5-star hotel in Weligama, and it wasn’t even close… plus it was 3 times more expensive! 🤡 so you should definitely book a massage during your stay!

The only small thing was that I was hoping to join yoga classes, but since it was off-season, they weren’t available. Not really a downside - just something to keep in mind if you’re visiting during low season.

The rooms were clean, modern, and tastefully decorated. The pool was kept very clean and was even large enough for swimming. The gym was a little worn, and the weights were a bit dirty, but it was kitted out with all the essentials for weight training. The grounds were kept immaculate. The breakfast was good and the restaurant also had some good options. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

On our first night, unfortunately, the place next door had a very loud party. However, they put us in the furthest room from the party, and it wasn't too much of an issue. The location is also suboptimal as there are limited places to go in the immediate adea. Otherwise, it's hard to fault it.

It was very peaceful and perfect after a week travelling around. The pool was amazing and has such a great view. It was amazing to have a huge room and bed to ourselves. The hotel was quiet, relaxed, had the pool to ourselves. Everything g we needed was onsite, it had great amenities we didn’t use like the gym and massages. The staff were always on hand to help, friendly, and helped us sort out transport.

The lights in the bathroom didn’t work. They were multiple small lizards in our bedroom, that were harmless but we didn’t expect for such a nice place. The food is okay but not amazing especially breakfast which is basic. But did the job for a one night stay.

This place is an amazing calm oasis. The bungalows are spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We loved the garden with all the palm trees and the pool area with a view of the lake where you can see many different birds. We also spotted monkeys in the trees. Highly recommend this hotel!

Wow, what a truly wonderful stay at Simply Peace. The accommodation is fabulous, beautiful bungalows, pool, well equipped gym and great bar and restaurant area. But what really made this stay so memorable was the staff. I can’t praise them enough they were simply incredible. Special mention to the general manager, the boys working in the bar and a wonderful driver we had. We felt so welcome and well looked after. Food is simple and fresh and we had delicious cocktails each evening. We also had two wonderful massages. We can’t wait to come back soon to this haven on the lagoon!

This resort is perfection! We absoutley loved everything about this stay. The place is immaculate, clean and has great facilities (gym, pool). We had a bungalow that was well maintained and stylish. Each bungalow has a balcony with sun loungers outside, mosquito net and fridge. The pool is clean and so relaxing. The massage was the best I have had in Sri Lanka alongside the coffee! Staff are wonderful and accommodating, the resort even comes with 3 pet dogs who are always up for a pat! Cannot fault this place.

Simply peace is a perfect name for this magical place on earth. The area is beautiful, the pool is amazing and the cabins are very big and pretty. Everything was clean, breakfast was good! Also the location was nice since it was close to Hiriketiya but also Tangalle

We really liked the outdoor area of the hotel. The pool offers a beautiful view of the lake and the gym has everything you need! The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was delicious.

The mat in the bathroom was unfortunately a bit dirty and the shower did not drain well.

Such a beautiful peaceful place, perfect place to switch off! Have the beautiful pool area overlooking lake or 5 min walk down to basically a private beach! Staff were amazing, couldn't do more for you and the rooms and wonderfully sized and kept clean. Suresh and team are brilliant on site and very helpful!

The food in the restaurant is awful. Not many restaurants close by so your choice is limited unless prepared to get tuk tuk.

It was a great stay in Simply Peace 🙏 from the first day to the last one 🙏 attitude to customer, service level, breakfast, support even after leaving the place !! And of cours - massages ❤️ it was the best ones I have in my life!

As a woman travelling alone with my son, I could not have felt more safe or looked after by these guys. The genuine care was so clear, actively making sure we had the right price for things. As we left, when the front desk guys saw me carrying bags they literally ran to help me! The support was generous but at no point smothering and because everything was so appropriately priced I never felt like they had another motive, they simply cared. The vibes are so good here, I worried about having my 6year old boy at a place called Simply Peace interrupting the ambiance but everyone commingled so well. The property is gorgeous and stunning value. We had a great trip to Silent beach from here

Incredible villas set in the most beautiful surroundings, in between a lake and the beach. Immaculate pool area and outdoor gym with huge yoga studio. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. The rooms are clean, comfortable and big! Don’t worry if you think it’s far out, the staff will help you arrange taxis and tuk tuks if you need!

Beautiful place with fantastic beach! Peaceful location, lovely bungalows, almost lonely beach with monkeys all around.The staff and service are amazing! Thanks a lot for such a hospitality and friendly staff! Special thanks for the food, eatings deserve lots of compliments! Definitely the place to come back!! We spent a week there, then moved to Hikkaduwa beach and remembered that week in Simply Peace with warm feelings constantly! Many thanks to the whole team! We' ll come back 100%!

Absolut lovely place and a must if you want to have a calm and beautiful place to stay at when you travel the south of Sri Lanka. The cabines are beautiful and very clean. We really enjoyed the stay and it was the best Hotel that we stayed in during our 3 Week vacation. Special highlights for me where the following: - super clean and beautiful pool and chill area that allowed us to really calm down and get a bit of rest. - Easy driving service organised be the hotel (they have their own cars with drivers) for super fair prices. In all cases we had super good and friendly drivers and the price was never higher than PickMe, but rather lower. - General friendliness of the staff and the owner was really amazing. We did also have a special situation, as my girlfriend got bitten by a dog at a random beach in Tangalle. The second we called the owner about the situation he organised everything for us, so when we got back to the hotel everything was organised for my girlfriend to get the vaccine against rabies. He pre called the hospital, reacted super understanding and supportive and he even drove us personally to the hospital, waited for us (until we told him he did not have to) and then send a car to pick us up. All of that was completely free of charge and afterwards the whole staff was constantly asking whether everything was good and cared even more. All in all a perfect location to feel save and supported so you can fully enjoy your vacation and reload your batteries. Fully recommend 11/10

The best place we stayed at in Sri Lanka! 12/10 would recommend! The staff is super lovely, welcoming and attentive. Especially I like to point out that they are super helpful. Whatever you need - also in emergencies - they help you super quickly! Also, they have very good drivers to take you wherever you need to go for a fair price. Apart from that the hotel is absolutely stunning. It’s so calming to stay there and just enjoy nature and the pool. Everything is super well maintained, the rooms are with a lovely interior, you have everything you need and it’s all super clean. Outside there are so many cool plants and animals to watch, for example monkeys.
