I loved the outdoors bathroom and shower. The swimming pool was at a great location and it was nice to be surrounded by palm trees. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

There was only one bedside table, so it was a bit inconvenient.

Location is perfect. Rooms are comfortable. Swimming pool and garden are great.

No breakfast included in the room and it was difficult to have one around. And we didn’t have any interactions with the owners.

Very kind people working there. It is super clean and our bathroom was just amazing. They have a big garden were the pool is located and it feels very relaxing there. The hotel is located really perfectly. You are directly in the centre, it is surrounded by nice shops and also has an ATM next to it. Even though the area is at some parts of the day little more busy, you almost cannot hear anything of it. It even has some jungle vibes while being in the centre.

The shutters on the windows still let in more light and with that might be irritating for people who are sensitive to it.

We loved our stay at Silva Rest. The staff were very kind and accommodating. The location was excellent within reach of the beach, restaurants and shops. The pool area was clean, very tranquil and great for spotting wildlife. We were lucky enough to watch the monkeys in the trees which was great fun. If we found ourselves in Unawatuna again, we would definitely return!

Biggest plus is the beautiful pool in the back garden with lots of birds, greenery, monkeys, lizards. It was so peaceful..an oasis from the business of Unawatuna . Our family room was spacious with open air bathroom, hot water, aircon, fridge and big private balcony looking down the garden and pool. Lovely owners and staff. What more could you want?

The location is great, right in the heart of Unawatuna, 5 mins stroll from the beach. The room was lovely, nice terrace outside. It was very clean. The pool was set in its own area, surrounded by jungle. The staff were outstanding - they are always around and bring mosquito coils at sunset for the terrace. The breakfast is 10 out of 10. Will definitely return.

there was alot of mosquitoes in the room which was fine at night inside the mosquito net but a little annoying the rest of the time

The outdoor bathroom was amazing.

Everything was perfect! Peaceful place with beautiful garden & swimming pool. Loved our balcony, room & bathroom were clean & comfortable. Fridge & kettle inside the room was great! Aircon & fan both worked really well. Location is perfect, on the main street so close to the beach & good restaurants.

The location is great in the middel of everything, it is in the Main Street but you don’t feel it when you are on your balcony. The place is much nicer the pictures say. The staff is really friendly and the got a nice swimming pool. The room is big and it has a hairdryer, kettle and a mini fridge. There is warm and cold water and it is very clean!
