The room was very nice and clean, with everything you might need! The view was amazing and the hostess was very nice always making sure we had what we needed. The best local breakfast i’ve had in sri lanka so far!

Amazing location looking out over Sigiriya Rock

Surangi and her daughter Sadu have been wonderful hosts and made us feel at home. The view from their place is amazing.

Everything was wonderful! The breakfast was fresh and delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. The owner was incredibly kind, friendly, and made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Perfect location with 10’ walk to the Sigiriya rock entrance and to the local restaurants. Very clean, breakfast from Surangi was delicious. Nothing else to ask for .. We spent 2 nights there and really rested, enjoyed the view to the rock and the stunning sunrise.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful and offered to arrange and eperiences and transport. The garden was a beautiful place to sit and relax.

It was a little bit far to walk to the restaurants and shops but it was super easy to arrange transport so that did compensate for the distance.

Surangi, the owner, was extremely helpful, she helped us arrange everything we needed. The breakfast was large and good, and the area is also nice. It's quite far from the main street but it is very quiet and has a nice garden. Surangi's son Sadu also helped us with post office with sending an international package and made the process a lot easier, he drove us there and stayed the entire time to explain everything.

Lovely Property in the heart of Sigiriya, with a short walk to the shops and restaurants. Very clean room and the owners could not have been more accommodating. Surangi, Sadu and Danu were so friendly and helpful. They also have their own tuk tuk, car and jeep. They took us on an elephant safari in the jeep, took us to the shops & restaurants in the tuk tuk (if we couldn’t be bothered walking) and drove us to Kandy in the car. There are more activities that they offer, like cooking classes etc. 100% worth the stay, you will not be disappointed!

There are no words that can describe our great experience in Lucky villa! First evening was really late for going to dinner and since we wanted some snack before sleep, husband mentioned about delicious pancakes and we got coconut pancakes! It was really nice that they prepared it, especially nice feeling when you are on honeymoon :) Then breakfast - really delicious, lot of food so that you cant eat all :) View - magnificient! We really recommend this place since we had great experience during our stay of 2 nights! The best accomodation so far on our trip! Room - big and clean, with everything you need :)

The location was excellent with an amazing view over the paddy and rock. The gardens were beautiful with a hammock. Outside patio was relaxing and the room was very clean with good aircon.

Pillows were too low.

We had a wonderful 2-day stay at Lucky Villa Sigiriya. The view of Sigiriya Rock right from the villa is truly breathtaking – a perfect blend of nature and tranquility. The owner, Surangi, was incredibly warm and caring throughout our stay, making us feel right at home. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the beauty of Sigiriya.

A tractor was working on the rice fields when we were there from 8 am to 6 pm and very loud

Surangi went out of her way to make our stay pleasant ☺️ she made us a delicious traditional Sri Lankan breakfast both mornings which was delicious! We booked last minute (9pm at night) and regardless Surangi went out of her way to welcome us. Surangi arranged everything we needed from tuk tuks, tour guide at the Lion Rock, a cooking class which was authentic with gorgeous views. There was also a lot more offered in terms of tours available such as a safari. The room was very clean and comfortable and had everything we could need and WOW the views and scenery from Lucky Star Villa are just beautiful. Lucky star is in a great location, overlooking rice fields and Lions Rock and just a 5-10 minute walk to shops and restaurants as well as a short drive to Lions Rock. Thank you so much to Surangi and her friends and family for such an amazing stay, I would definitely visit again! 🥰

Everything was perfect. Surangi and his family were of great help and great care for us. Whether you want to do activities or just need a tuktuk, they were able to be very responsive and very professional. I recommend 1000%. Everything was beautiful the location the garden the rice fields opposite, the view of the lions rock everything was there. Thank you very much for your kindness you touched us deeply 🤍

The guest house is surrounded by nature with a beautiful view of the rock. Our room was clean and comfortable, the owner was really kind and helpful. She helped us arrange transport and a safari, which made things really easy for us. Breakfast was always on time and made just the way we liked it!!
