Very close to the beach . Nice pool. Helpful staff. Lovely outside shower area and nice outside verandah.

Food really needs improving…but there were very nice eateries close by. Some areas in urgent need of maintenance…eg decking round pool, bizarre electrics in rooms. Could have done with a/c….it was very hot

We had a very pleasant stay!! The staff and the owner were excellent and helpful and made sure we had a very enjoyable stay!!

The staff was super friendly, the overall space of the hotel is small but very comfortable, the food is very good and delicious, the pool is amazing. It's right on the beach. Great value for money.

The WiFi was not very good in the rooms, but it was bearable. The rest was just perfect.

The pool and beach area was very relaxing and beautiful. The young guy who works there was wonderful and happy to chat to us and help us out when we realised we left the outdoor bathroom door open.. so we accidentally let the wild monkeys in our room..! Remember to close those doors! Generally the place is really great if you want a couple of days downtime after travelling. The waves on the beach were too large and this is why having the pool was great.

The hotel is in quite a remote area along the coast so there aren't many places nearby to explore. This was fine for us as we just needed a few days to relax after travelling.

Wonderful Stay at Sanji’s The Seaside Cabanas I had a fantastic time at Sanji’s The Seaside Cabanas. The swimming pool was always clean and well-maintained, perfect for a relaxing dip. The bungalows are spacious, comfortable, and offer a great level of privacy. They served us wonderful, delicious Sri Lankan food, which we highly enjoyed.The beach is quiet, clean, and just a few steps away – ideal for unwinding and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Beautiful pool and lovely beach area. Lovely outdoor bathroom and balcony area on the cabana. Friendly staff and lovely breakfasts. Having a massage on the balcony was a real treat.

The location and hotel are really beautiful right by the beach and with beautiful plants marking the spaces between cabanas. The pool and cocktails are really nice and the outside shower is also really good.

The room misses some basic amenities for the price (no hair dryer, the towels are more like blankets and don't really dry you especially in the heat) and especially no A/C which when you're paying over 100€ a night in a place where it's around 30 degrees almost all day round is a big deal and makes it really hard to sleep or not feel instantly sweaty after showering. The shower and bathroom are both outside and have a "window" to each other which means only one can be used at a time, also, if you need to use either at night it's almost certain you'll get mosquitoes into your room. The breakfast is quite basic (including some stale bread) and we only had dinner there once because we really didn't like the food (luckily there are 2 great family owned restaurants just across the street). In the last day we found 2 dead cockroaches in our bathroom.

Beautiful place, great hosts and georgeous breakfast. The cabanas are stunning. We enjoyed our stay a lot and would love to come back!

Beautiful wooden cabins that lead directly on to the beach surrounded by lush gardens. . Lovely friendly staff. Try the Arak cocktail with passion fruit & lime. A gorgeous place.

Wonderful beach bungalows with open bathroom on a beautiful property right by a calm beach. Awesome breakfast, friendliest staff, tasty cocktails. Some small restaurants with good local food are also close by.

Nothing wrong with the place. One just needs to be aware that Tangalle is 25 minutes bu Tuktuk.

Overall stay was very nice. Quiet and tranquil. Enjoyed the beautiful garden setting and the swimming pool. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good.

Really enjoyed our stay but would recommend a kettle, bar fridge in room and umbrellas at pool area to make it even better.

I had the privilege of spending two days at this exceptional hotel, and I must say it met every single one of my expectations! The price is very reasonable considering the quality of service provided. The food is absolutely delicious – every dish is a true feast for the taste buds. The hotel is beautifully located, and the views are breathtaking. Our room was wonderful – spacious, comfortable, with a fantastic bathroom that felt like a luxurious spa. An added bonus was that we were placed in a room right on the front line, by the Ocean – the view from the window was unforgettable! The hotel also offers a pool and a private beach, making the stay even more relaxing. The surrounding peace and wonderful atmosphere made the entire experience incredibly rejuvenating. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to truly relax and feel special.

So tranquil and peaceful. Quiet area with a few restaurants and spa over the road. Direct access to the beach and a lovely pool area. Breakfast was lovely - slightly varied each day. Sanji is a great host, will always stop for a chat, check you are happy, the staff are all very polite. Bungalows are clean and comfortable, I liked the outdoor seating areas - nice for reading and relaxing.
